A road in kenya that takes 1yr to be completed - takes 20yrs in Nigeria - and it's no exaggeration. In Uganda I have seen 2kms road take 2yrs. Nigeria is even worse - Lagos -Ibandan expressway has been under construction for what -40yrs?

As for kenya - Kenya collects nearly 20B dollars as gov revenues (16B as ordinary tax & 4B as AIA) - and has a budget of 30B dollars - that is just the national gov.

The whole island with it's development is still undergoing massive construction simultaneously. So you think Lagos will be constructing only towers and city and call that development.

If you tell me Nairobi has 15 business districts, i will tell you Lagos has hundreds because virtually everywhere in the mainland has a thriving city with a huge business atmosphere.

Nairibi will suffer hardly to compete with Lagos.We don't fold our hands and build cities only.
