what about the idea of growing tropical rain forest in south africa like what is obtainable in west africa. how possible is that? most of the areas look more or less like safari park

Ecactly! Ethio telecom is acting like diamond in here because that is the only telecom we have here. Terrible network with higher price. . .well everyone here has no telecom to go to so they playing on us since 1880!

Whatever we're doing now is obviously working for us. West Africa is West Africa because of rain forests or whatever. South Africa is not West Africa. We gotta stay true to our own identity & not try to emulate somebody else.

i am coming from the economical background of how deforestation can be eliminated Therefore tap into the resources back home instead of relying on imported material such as woods, that can be locally outsourced . i just think it will save a lot of rands

No electricity just water for survival. There wouldn't be a point for electricity in places like that because they're temporary dwellings, known here as "Squatter camps"

The reason why Kenyan slums houses can't be of concrete walls is because the slum dwellers know full well that the land isn't theirs.They can't risk putting up a modern facilities lest the government demolishes them when it wants it's land back! Some of the slums are even built on riparian lands like river banks! All this is illegal but the human side of the government can't demolish this structures!

As for Nigeria,most part of Abeoukuta City is a slum and the land belongs to the citizens,the only exception is their floating slum known as Makoko!

Our Kibera got electricity an i think you should have in it ths camps as much as temporary they may be...but on the other hand its a good idea to discourage the wannabe who would want to make it a permanent home
