Ifeoma, you are way too kind. It's your type of people that this country need to get better. So selfless. May your path shine brighter each day and may you be highly favored in this journey.
Ifeoma77:

I am using 31 here, just in case ECA delays you till after your birthday.
Your family's CRS without stressing wifey with ECA or IELTS = 432
CRS with wife doing ECA alone (bachelor's degree), no IELTS = 440
CRS with your wife writing IELTS alone, no ECA and scoring 6 in all modules = 444
CRS with wife doing both ECA (Bachelor's) and IELTS (6 across the board) = 452

My Opinion:
1. If you or wifey has a sibling in Canada that you can claim points from, then she should not bother with ECA or IELTS.
2. If there's no sibling in the equation, she should write IELTS alone and not bother about ECA. I'm pretty sure she will score better than 6 each in LRWS and 444+ is a very good score to fetch ITA. Besides, 75k (68k with MOD) is cheaper than the cost of ECA fee + school transcript request + courier fees. Also two weeks wait for IELTS result (or 3 days with CBT) is shorter than months for ECA.

Walahi I could have done anything to avoid hubby writing ielts but birthday is on 14th so CRS will be so bad. If u see how am praying for 6666 across board from him ehn. Hubby no like exam at all
75k is too much in this dispensation but what can one do. Anything to move this ministry forward o jare
Hubby might shock you with an excellent result. Izz not today that men started doing IELTS submarine studying while their wives will be thinking that they are not interested.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, the ministry must move to the permanent site

Hi, My name is John. I came across your thread on travel section. I presently reside in Sweden and would like to give a shot at moving to Canada. I have a bachelors degree in Biochemistry ( from Uniben) and a masters degree in Biomedicine(medical research) here in Sweden.
I would really appreciate your tips on how to go about with the application for PR in Canada. Thanks and await a reply. [quqote author=NwabuezeCKA post=73673520]PPR Alert.....Family of 3

Silent reader.....

I am a silent reader on this thread since part 4 and today God has favoured us beyond words and I have to testify.

Our PPR story

Decision to travel -Nov 2017

ECA-Dec 2017

IELTS- 4 times (BC, BC, MOD back to BC) passed on the 4th attempt in July 2018

ITA-Aug 22 (458)

MEDICALS-Q-LIFE- SEPTEMBER 22

AOR-Sept 29

MEP/instructions for Biometrics-Oct 14

Biometrics was done and uploaded-Oct 24th

Dec 7th- PPR

AOR to PPR- 68days

***We are happy, excited and in shock all at the same time as we didn't expect it this fast.

Everything on this journey I learnt by reading the FSW.thread.

Grateful for those who keep taking their time to update pg. 1.. May God bless you.

Lesson I learnt is please make your application as simple as you can, upload what you are asked to upload and do not use LOE unless it is absolutely necessary.

ON POF- We did not use FD or Tbills. The money was just in my normal savings account. We ensured from Jan 2018 I had my account properly in order. So at the beginning of the year hubby n i joined all our savings and paid a large chunk of it into my salary account while the remaining money was spread in 2 other accounts since then we ensured we maintained the balance in the 3 banks though we still used the accounts for normal transactions we just made sure since Jan that we did not go below the POF balance. We used 3 savings accounts.

The 3 banks all gave us their regular ref letter and we uploaded the generic ref letters with 6 months statement of account

We also relied on my pension statement as buffer in case of currency flunctuactions.

On proof Employment- used letter of appointment, confirmation, promotion and ref letter given to me by my ofc stating my job desription, how much i earned ........I also added payslips from Jan to Aug 2018.

It can only be God.....and we are extremely grateful and we needed to share this story here.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP ON THE CANADA DREAM. IT WOULD END IN PRAISE FOR US ALL.

Thanks so much.

Na God baba.

By 3rd month after application, I recommend that GCMS request should be compulsory for everyone to avoid stories that touch...

Bro. Which of the gcms request services did you use?

Gcmsbuddy or getgcms?

Happy Sunday everyone, I recently applied for a remark with British Council and someone advised on this platform that one should send a mail to info@cambridgeassessment.org.uk and copy BC Nigeria. I sent the follow-up mail but I received a reply from the former that they have nothing to do with remark. Please is there another way I can follow up on the remark?

Thanks Fam

Hi @pyruvateluv, i really don't think you should stress over it. I sent mails and even called. Those guys will keep referring you back to BC Nigeria. When i called, the call centre agent was not even aware of anything called EOR. They're not like MOD that respond positively to EOR enquiry.

Just pray and keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks a great deal. I am better informed of what to do now!
On the issue of having 5 years work experience from 4 different establishments but same job designation, Will it be an issue for me?
It's not a problem as long as you get reference letters from all of them. I'd suggest that you claim work experience for 3 years, get reference for those 3 years and move the rest to personal history.
Also, make sure you're not the one who drafts all the letters, if they 'sound' alike, you'd have problems

Hello everyone, please I need help. I want to try for this express entry thing, I have written ielts yesterday and I am waiting for my result but I don't have any valid work experience in my field, I only have NYSC, does anybody know how possible it is to use that as work experience? I would have found a way to get work experience but I have been travelling a lot in and out of african countries and my passports have been stamped, what can I do please?

A number of people here have used NYSC work experience and gotten permanent residency. But that may not be your only problem. Why don't you search for CRS calculator on Google and try to simulate points with your degree, ielts results, age and work experience etc or better still, just go to the first page of this thread so you'll be better informed.

Please I need to be sure that I filled the PPR Consent Form and the Height and Eye Chart correctly.

-Surname first
-Birth dates written in this format: February 10, 2019.
-Do we need to fill the part of the consent form with the heading 'Applicants wishing to provide biometrics? AOR - April 23. 2018. No request was made for biometrics before PPR or in the PPR letter.
-Typed except the part with 'printed' written in brackets and the signature

Okay?

Yes you can. That's what I am using. Try using the CRS calculator to get your CRS points, that way you will know the next step you may need to take to boost your CRS points.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 5:16pm On Feb 10, 2019
Use the CRS tool to simulate your possible points and see if you get 440+: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Then spend some quality time with page 1.

I am the PA.I have my POF in a joint account with my spouse. My salary account has no significant savings. I have applied for 6months payslip from my place of work. In the circumstance, will the 6months payslip dispense with printing a 6months statement of my salary account? Since am not using my salary account as POF,do I still need to get SOA and bank ref letter from my salary bank account? Or just the payslip will suffice alongside SOA, bank ref letter from me and my hubby's joint account,?

Hello house,

Please I need a contact in Unilag's record office. My WES profile didn't go on hold after verification was sent to UNILAG. I need to confirm if it was received and attended to. Thanks in advance.
