Hello house, been here for years but wud like to commend evry1 here for visa eye openers. u guy are d best.
pls house i have a question poundering my mind, i am trying to package a Disney world in florida package for my family this summer, my children are 5yrs and 2yr plus respectively. now want to ask dont u think my 2nd child is too young to visit Disney world? Though we have been refused in d past (2017) when we have never travelled together b4 but had a family vacation last yr to Dubai.
I would be glad if the gurus can help look into this and help with necessary guide .my interview is arround May 2019.

Please i need some advice here. I am trying to fill DS 160 form for my mum (B2) visitation and was asked if she has been given US visa before, I clicked yes . Then was asked for the month/ year and the visa no.

The problem is that, we are trying to find the passport because it was with my dad before he died. We have looked everywhere and still searching.

I called the embassy contact and was told they can't help me in regards to DS 160

Please what can be done?
I need to fill up so that I can pick a date for her.

Sure, it can be used still, no problem. But a new one will be needed for the actual trip. The visa remains valid irrespective of passport expiration or not....

Don’t really know about this one (rescheduling a 221(g) appointment), but surely you are no longer qualified for a Dropbox application, 221(g) is a technical refusal. What have you tried to do so far in terms of rescheduling and what’s the outcome like? Hope you make headway with this though.

Well, if rescheduling fails, you then will have to get another MRVisa fee paid for that is and schedule a direct appointment, no more Dropbox.

There is a question asking if your passport has ever been lost or stolen...?


If you click yes provide the passport number or do not know

Then country and authority that issued the passport/travel doc

many thanks,the current MRV is still open on my page and directing me to dropbox still(wifey and kids went for 221g and was approved),I know am not qualify for dropbox but atleast another 221g is what I want to schedule for. Any further advice or help will be appreciated

My wife and I went there on Feb 5. We were denied. Come and see denial everywhere except one old woman. Even a lady who has an american citizen for a daughter was denied getting visas for her other children.

These people are extorting us. Why must I pay the fee first before you determine if I'm qualified at this time or not. Didn't you see my form before?

An American citizen for a daughter doesn't in any way mean you will get their visa na. You just have to mostly qualify for it as an individual, basically.

Well, sorry about the refusal.... Go build your ties better for now sha.

The last time I applied Aug 2016 I was doing my Nysc i passed out in Nov 2016 on filling this form. I put my present employer whom I've been working for since Jan 3rd 2017.

Please how do I defend myself.wgat and what do I need to go with.

When Americans applied for Nigerian Visa, it is pay before service too.

I am going for a summit in the USA, travel and accommodation funded by the organization that is bringing me in and this will be stated in the visa letter... I have been to australia, south africa, kenya and transit through ethiopia... i need to know how to book an appointment....

My question is that shld the invitation letter carry his wife former surname or the Guy's surname AND while filling the visa application form, shld she fill her former surname or the husband surname.

Go through the thread you will have an idea of what you will need to get the Visa, you have good enough travel history.

I see no problem at all.... if her maiden name is on her passport that should be the name she should be addressed with.

One more thing, the letter was dated 2/5/19 and the instruction was that I should book a follow up appointment no sooner than 2 business days after the date on the letter.

I don’t know if 2/5/19 is 2nd of May, 2019 (American date format) or 5th of February 2019 (Nigerian format).
