A group, Igbo Reawakening Forum (IRF) on Sunday said President Buhari remained the only leader that has the capacity to halt Nigeria’s drift into disintegration.

The group said Buhari’s emergence in 2015 was an act of God to end the balkanization of the country and to serve as a brigde between the nation’s spiritual fathers and the masses.

In a communuque issued after its joint meeting of the Board of Trustees and National Executive Committee in Awka, and signed by both chairmen, Chief Nkwo Nnabuchi and Uchenna Ufearoh respectively, the body affairmed its belief and commitment to a united Nigeria state.

The body said its decision to endorse Buhari/Osinbajo joint ticket was informed by the confidence it has on their candidacy to address the myraid of challenges facing the nation.

The group regretted the refusal of the Igbos to learn from history despite all they had suffered since independence.

It asked the people of the zone to vote massively for Buhari at the Saturday poll to change the narratives.

The group said, “The present Igbo leaders have not cared to examine thoroughly the mistakes of Michael Okpara in 1964, General Ironsi in 1966 and Odumegwu Ojukwu in 1967.

“Regrettably, Igbos have not learnt any lesson from the tragedies they faced in the 60s. They are still deep in the political naiveity that destroyed Igbo civilization.”

Even APC members in the East will never put dumbohari's picture on their campaign pictures. The illiterate dullard is a bad omen. The East is too enlightened to support a buffoon like him. grin

and yet no visible development in the east, your governors are all irredeemably corrupt, but they use tribalism and nepotism to cajole you by saying APC is Hausa party, and you who are enlightened fall for it and continue to vote for thieves, while running to Lagos which has been made economically viable by tinubu whom you insult everyday and compare to kwara where your legs will never dream to enter. what a people

Zombie, the East is the most educated region today while your region keeps competing with war-torn bornu on the education and literacy indices charts released consistently forore than 4 years now. Lo gba research. Olodo grin

Is there anyone more brainwashed by illiterate ewedu Muslim zombies like you who specialize in selling human skulls like cow meat in jankara market?

You are illiterate that's why you think tbiefnubbu developed Lagos, when we all know that the development of Lagos is because of it's strategic colonial position as a capital city for more than 46 years pre-indepence and 30 years post-independence. A cumulative 76 years in total as Capital city, 76 years of swallowing national resources such as groundnut, palm oil and crude oil money is what developed Lagos not a thiefnubbu from a village in Iragbiji who can't develop a simple solution to his mouth odour. People have been migrating to Lagos since 1910 before Tinubu was born.

Keep your head steady while thiefnuubu continues to deceive and brainwash your unlettered skull with his nation newspaper and TVC news propaganda that he developed Lagos with his father's money. And maintaining an army of illiterate Agberoes, thugs and urchins like MC oluomo whose children will rule over your miserable lineage in future. grin

No offence but it is what it is.

Some of you sound plain stupid without knowing it.

What is the essence of politics and elections, is it not for the contesters to vie for votes? Must everybody vote one person? How do some of you even think?

These guys from the SE have voted every Nigerian from other parts of the country before now, but made it abundantly clear that they'd not, even for plates of diamond, vote for Buhari, no, not in heaven or earth. And true to type, the man has performed horrendously and you still want to force them to vote him?

Why can't Osinbajo, an obvious performer and capable hand, be fielded and see if the whole of the SE will not vote him?

When those same Igbos voted Obasanjo even against Ojukwu and Ekwueme; and also voted Yaradua, was it also politics of hatred? I really wish some of you would know a little about history before spewing half-baked trash on the pages of the internet.

Treated equally does not mean I should appoint u into my cabinet when u didn't vote for me. The law gives the president the prerogative to appoint anybody he trusts into his cabinet. You don't expect him to appoint those that have shown nothing but disdain and hatred to him.

The first stage of lunacy is denial. IMO state has more professors than your states. You've not crossed oshogbo in your entire life. SSS3 Secondary School students in oshogbo and saki can hardly make a proper grammatical sentence, set them an exam in English, they'll write in Ede Yoruba. Even pidgin English is like rocket science to them but come to the East, even the least educated market woman in the village can communicate in pidgin. You know it, I know it. grin

WAEC statistics have shown us severally how states like Kano, sokoto, borno are catching up and beating Yoruba states of osun and oyo. Keep going to alaroye newspaper stands to beat your chest and deceive yourself that you more enlightened than the Ibos. Your loss. grin

This useless Igbo group is supporting Buhari, a man who illegally ordered the army (operation python dance) to invade Igbo lands and slaughtered Igbos for no genuine reason!

A man who was quick to declare IPOB (a non-voilent group) a "terrorist" while supporting fulani terrorists who invade communities and slaughter innocent people!
