That's my January... This week I'm well on course to hit my target... I de alagomeji since 11, ate and been feeling sleepy so i chilled...will resume at 2.

Started at 6 taken a 3hr break, close at 10

Also, budget like 3ltrs (30km) for repositioning, sometimes you need to.
My tactics is simply to play the odds, places like mushin, very undesirable but I've never gone there to come out empty... Know why? Numbers... Thats why primewater view gardens, lagos island, vi at closing.. they so hot. Its the numbers. Take primewater for example, usually you find averge of 5 cars around, how many people do you think live in the 1 and 2. Play the numbers guys and you'll be fine. I agree some days are slow but generally you'll be fine.
Every morning two eggs, I don't want to be ur rider after the egg consumption lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

I know we shared the story of how fuel attendant cheat their clients.
This almost happened to me today.
I had just closed for the day and decided to just buy N2k fuel, incase i decide to start the hustle early tomorrow.
I drove into mobil petrol station along awolowo road, ikeja, and told the attendant to sell 2k, fuel
He asked whether cash or pos, i told him cash.
of course i was on high alert for any funny move, we have discussed their various tricks, i even told him to wait, i got down from the car and ensured i was staring directly at the meter.
He started to sell, and when he got to above N1,200, i decided to get my wallet, from getting my wallet to turning back i noticed his hand touched the fuel pump station, i really thought nothing of it, but i complained that he should have waited for me to at least see the quantity sold, he showed me the price which was N2k, but the quantity was not there, i again said he should have shown me the quantity, i really did not think he had played a fast one on me, he now said he can show me, he pressed a button and 10.xx litres read (must have pressed the wrong button), i failed to do a mental calculation, i just entered my car, looked at the gauge level and said this should be about N2k
Instead of me driving off, i went to park beside the petrol station shopping mart, i was removing all my cables, and putting all stuff inside my bag.
suddenly i heard a voice, oga, oga, i have been calling you that i did not finish selling you your fuel, here is your change and he gave me N500.
The panicky fuel attendant thought i had done a mental calculation of 10.xx litres and i was packing my car about to come out, either to vent my anger or report him, he panicked and quickly ran to me to give me my N500 change.
we should be more carefully, you sometimes wonder why we are not seeing the profit after a hard days work.

I'm have this gps issue on my new 4g LTE phone, and it has forced me to keep using my old phone for taxify..

I 've tried correcting it to high accuracy, still movement inaccurate making me doing 2 trips for 11k with 1k fuel.

Now I'm back to using my old phone b4 I'm blocked with the normal fare.

Therefore if u have any useful comment on how to solve GPS issue pls drop ur comment.

( note: my car face backward when moving on the app and I noticed my car was on water while on 3MB on the app)
What's the name of the phone that doubles the azer, I need to buy it and test it, to find the solution to the problem. Am not a saint, unlike the people claiming holier than thou. If you know you know. tongue tongue tongue tongue

Mobil, on Ozumba Mbadiwe; I changed it for one attendant there last week.
I drove into the filling station from Oluniyi Olumide Crescent and parked beside a pump; got out of the car and opened my fuel tank. Attendant asked me how much, I told him #2,000. He pressed the side of the pump and told me to walk to the other side of the pump to "see my meter". I went ballistic immediately.

Me: "Oga, why didn't you tell me to park on that same side of the pump so you can sell to me from there"
Attendant: "Oga, I saw that you were in a hurry"
Me: "I am not in a hurry, let me repark"

Attendant had an exasperated look on his face as I reparked on the other side. My fuel tank was still open. Before I could get out of my door, the wise man was already attempting to put the hose in my fuel tank. I shouted at him from inside the car, "Wait, don't start selling until I come out of the car. If you sell without me seeing the pump, I will not pay a dime". Na so the guy stop. He now asked me " What is the meaning of all this?" I replied him "What is the meaning of what? That I want to see the pump before you sell fuel I want to buy? You are talking to a customer anyhow? Do you want me to walk into your Head Office and report you?"

My guy just gentle and sold my fuel. I know say he sell am complete when my gauge almost reach half-tank mark

Honestly it's really annoying..the fares as so cheap that it attracts all kinds of riders..I still beleive the platform should not be ridiculously cheap as is the case now so that way it naturally selects the riders that use the service..not that it will solve the problem but reduce abuse greatly..

Have you observed the riders that form and want you to drive your car into their bedrooms for pickup or drop them off inside their parlours are the one that don't have cars themselves grin

There assume drivers have low IQs not knowing that alotta guys are graduates and some even have masters...all is well sha

What is it with you guys and condescending attitude towards your riders, these riders are the ones paying your bills ffs. Doesn't matter if he is paying you N500, they are your customers and deserve every respect even if you feel they are underserving of it.

To think these are the same guys who will enter the bank and rain insults on tellers and customer service officers when they have issues with their almost empty account. We don't see tellers ranting, they simply apologise and pacify them.

If you know you have issues with your self esteem, please quit ehailing. You're a graduate doing ehailing, so what?

See them claiming for a raise in fare, so you want me to pay premium fare while you use your dirty, bland and ugly corolla to come pick me? You guys are just jokers.

My apologies friend as you totally misunderstood me

I believe this is a forum of mostly drivers so I was only talking about the general attitude of riders..Speaking about bankers and customers...I was an ex banker and I know when the customers leave, the bankers speak candidly about the customers that have attitudes and gave them a tough time that day while also analysing their bank balances vis a vis the level of disturbances on the shop floor...

This is the same thing I have just done...I always respected my riders though some treated me like trash but I never insulted anyone..I would mostly smile, not talk or just reject the trip..Never engaged in verbal or physical abuse with any..NEVER as I've been trained that customer is KING.

The facts I stated above is just the truth for me as is the same in the bank..it is common knowledge that those that rant and shout In the bank are not the banks HNIs but the ones that don't shout or just walk straight to the BDMs office if they have issues instead of creating a scene on the shop floor are the ones holding the branch same is the case in e-hailing..

I speak like this because this is really a driver`s forum and never meant any insult. If you read my previous comments that's what I've always stood for.

As regards drivers and level of education, honestly all Im demanding is mutual respect bearing in mind that the automobile picking the rider is not owned by uber/taxify but by mostly the driver who paid for or Is paying currently some good sum in form of rentals for that automobile..that respect should be most in riders who themselves do not have one/nor can afford one at that particular time...From my experience I find that riders who seem to appreciate the workability/logistics of maintaining an automobile respect you more(and even complain of the low fare)than those who don't have one and that's all I said, I never meant no insult..

Bear in mind that my observations are not true across board as you find some riders that respect you even if they might not have a car and some that diss you even when they have 10 cars..

My apologies ones again

A day before i change the phone;

It displayed 6,300naira and suddenly my car appear in sangotedo on the app.. omo! No one told me to end the trip before i responded swiping the "end trip" and left it for confirmation till we reach destination

While pondering on what to tell the rider at the end of trip, we hit a mad traffic that lasted about 2hours and i begin to regret endjng the trip

Unexpectedly, the rider received a call and told me to take him back to VI.

Me: oops, i mistakenly end the trip. Gosh!

Rider: how much is it?

Me: 6300 sir ( showing him my phone)

Rider: so how much will u charge to take me back or should i request again?

Me: the same amount (with a smile on my face)

Rider: no. the road will be free coming back,

Anyways we got to his is finally destination and he paid 10k

My action : collected the cash, put off the app, head home straight, only to wake up the next day to go change my phone... i dont want wahala
