Why lock the exit? Just not to have scanty crowd as people have enjoyed the music and completed their part of the bargain for which they were paid. just like in Lagos.
APC is evil ... may the blood of these dead people rest on the head of those organisers and their suppotrers.
So,a mature man will believe such a story?
Why were they there in the first place?
To just come and see Ameachi and go?

Those that also died in Taraba were leaving when Buhari arrived abi?

The crowd in Rivers was too much and at the end of the event, people were rushing to get home.

What has 20 million jobs lost under Buhari's govt got to do with these innocent lives needlessly snuffed out because someone refused to keep the stadium exit gate open?

This happens because of lack of proper organization. If they had taken proactive measures, it would not have happened. At least, there are two other campaigns that people died. They don't have crowd control management. Church Crusades organized by Christ Embassy have had larger crowd and not a single casualty. That is why I insist that APC cannot fix this nation. They know the problem but they don't have the solution.

Over four Persons Die In Rivers APC Presidential Campaign Rally Stampede

Over four Persons are feared dead in a stampede at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt after the Rivers APC Presidential Campaign Rally.

The person's were trampled to death after they struggled to leave the stadium before the conclusion of the rally on Tuesday .

On the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari, the people tried to exit, but the gates were locked by organisers. It was during the struggled that they were trampled.

During the PDP Presidential Campaign at the same venue, no life was lost because the gates were left open for the crowd to go in and out.

I blame the opposition PDP for this.
It is an act by the opposition to drag the name of the ruling party to the mud.
Lol.

Why won't they die? What did they go there to do? Meet Mr lifeless?
I bet you, many Nigerians would have been happy to see him dead than cry for these dead.
Well, may God console the family of the dead and grant them the fortitude to bear the losses.

If you watched the live telecast the entire rally was very shoddy. There was no message apart from lamentation of thier loss yesterday at the Supreme Court, abuse and threat of violence by Amaechi. There was no substance in the rally. People were despondent.

They didn't even present a governorship candidate, even though Mr Cole was on the podium. The whole thing was pathetic

Buhari didn't even finish speaking when when they started playing the National Anthem abruptly. People were already rushing out due the shambolic nature of the whole thing. They refused to keep the gate open so the stadium will not empty while people were delivery their empty speeches

So because Buhari was driven out of the stadium when people died trying to get out it is no longer APC rally?

You are spot on. The day before Buhari came to campaign in Lagos all the fuel tankers that cause chronic traffic gridlock on Apapa road were mysteriously cleared. After, Buhari left, the tankers and gridlock resumed. They know what to do, but won't do it "to punish the citizens". That's how Business Day put it.

Op tell another story, as if you were there to know that the people were trying to leave at the arrival of Buhari.

When some you lie you think that people are fools.

Let me ask you what were the people doing there before Buhari arrival,. Is that the place they leave?

Carry your mumu go Buhari will still win on Saturday
