In response to your question. I have an habit of experimenting with my gadgets. I googled and flashed my hot 6 pro with a flash file called QFIL and using Qualcome drivers.

I was able to flash the phone as described online but the phone no longer has network after flashing. All the core apps were partially installed, the IMEI disappeared.

I took this phone to all nook and cranny of computer village until a someone online referred me to a guy in computer village.

I had to cough out 5k with serious begging lol.

Perhaps I could have mistakenly flashed it with an incompatible ROM.

I think GCam works only on Google pixel and Nexus phones. It also works on some qualcomm snapdragon devices. However, you can try it out. A trial won't hurt your phone. Who knows, it might just work.

When did the screen wouldn't come on, I pressed the power button for 10 seconds, the screen came on but went off soon after.

I have a similar experience here, my infinix note 5 is not even two months old yet and it just stopped working all of a sudden.

Well, you might want to give to an engineer to check onboard ICs. I'm afraid that if the check turns out positive (damaged onboard components), you might be dealing with a motherboard issue.

I suggest you flash it first if you have not...

Lolz! Flashing a phone isn't the same as factory resetting it. In fact, they are two entirely different operations. The term flashing is coined from 'erasing and re writing the FLASH memory on which your firmware is installed' During this process partitions such as system, data, cache and dalvik cache are wiped and a fresh firmware is re installed. A factory reset only wipes (not completely) cache and data partition while it leaves the system partition unwiped and then restores system settings to default.

Infinx is a really cool brand. Enjoy the hot 5. Moving to hit 6x pro. Keep it up guys.
