PLEASE I NEED HELP Please my fellow naira landers I need your help, I think I have formatted the the life out of my phone My Tecno L8 plus got soft bricked, it just get stock on displaying the Tecno logo and dosn't enter recovry mode. I tried flashing the ROM SP Flash tool but the problem persisted. So I decided to use the format option of SP Flash tool to see if that could solve the problem, so I clicked on the format tab and selected "format all" then I clicked start and plugged my phone, the format was successful but then when I tried powering on my phone nothing happens it dosn't even show any thing when I plug the charger. Please I need you guys help on what to do next, am sure there must be a way to bring my phone back to life Please share your experience and your opinions... |

You have wiped the bootloader and possibly the preloader too. However, you can check whether your PC still detects the phone. Just listen to your PC when you connect the phone via usb to the pc. Does it make a sound (indicating a connection)? If yes then your preloader is still intact. Problem half solved. Next, you have to ensure that your MTKVCOM drivers are properly installed. Head over to the web (google search your phone name, model + stockrom download) to download the compatible rom for your phone. Hovatekforum is a good place to get your roms. (Although be ready to download several roms if you dont know your phone's build number) With your rom downloaded, flash it with the latest version of spflash tool. Your problems should now be history. Easiest fix: Give it to a technician and save yourself the troubles. |

OEM is “original equipment manufacturer”. In this context, i'm referring to companies who manufacture their own phones in their own factories. e.g. Samsung, LG, Apple. As opposed to a typical Tecno, Gionee, Infinix...etc, an OEM phone will have better support, availability of driver, tools, ROMs and other resources to unbrick (even prevent bricking of) your phone. On the current state of your phone, there's a forum i've come across, Hovate.k Forum. You might find someone there with insight that might help for tecno, infinix and other brands like that.
