Okonjo-Iweala Denies Making Biafra The 'Richest Country In The World' Comment by PoliticsNigeria: 9:34am On Feb 14, 2019 |
@POLITICSNGR Nigeria's Former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala has denied reports that she promised to make 'Biafra the richest country in the world'. On Wednesday, a report went viral that Okonjo-Iweala promised to make the country the world's richest. In a swift response on Thursday, Iweala called on the public to disregard the report, branding as 'False and Mischievous'. She wrote; "My attention has been drawn to a fake news making the rounds claiming I made a statement on Biafra. It is false and mischievous. Please disregard it. Thank you." https://politicsngr.com/just-okonjo-iweala-speaks-making-biafra-richest-country-world/ 4 Likes 2 Shares

The funny thing about Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB is that as we speak, there is no document specifying the political, economic, social, educational, etc. blueprint of IPOB as a nation-building vehicle. If they succeed in getting Biafra, it will be visionlessly worse than Nigeria. Believe me. Every revolution or fight for self determination is driven by a cause, a philosophy, the vision of the chief driver and a practical blueprint articulated by eggheads. Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are yet to clearly articulate and communicate any of these to the general Igbo populace. Again, every revolution or fight for a new identity has many 3 critical components: leadership team, intellectuals and foot soldiers. IPOB only has one component - foot soldiers and then a vain deity (Nnamdi Kanu). There is still a long way to go for IPOB. 44 Likes 5 Shares |

is it not this same madam, who normally asks GEJ to sign approval of contract memos on sundays, instead of signing same on working days? She knows the day GEJ would be drunk and could easily secure his approval signatures. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Ngozi Iweala should be the first to commend Buhari administration after Buhari was able to wage against the storm of recession despite Iweala and Soludo already warning Nigerians of imminent recession no matter who wins between Jonathan and Buhari in 2015 due to the fact that Jonathan refused to save during the time of plenty when crude oil was selling at $110 per barrel, coupled with the global fall in the price of crude oil. Sai Baba. Next level is the key. We ain't gonna go back to PDP Egypt of looting and abandoned projects. Despite Buhari administration earning 60% less yet he's come up with plenty projects such as Our railways at itakpewarri, Lagos-ibadan, kaduna-abuja etc, The production of low cost fertilizers, Zik maoseleum Baro inland port, Rice mills, Foreign reserve increase from #26b to #43b, Construction of our express highways such as enuguonitsha, Lagos-ibadan etc. Social policy schemes such as tradermoni, npower etc And most especially, stabilizing us through this recession which happened because jonathan failed to save despite earning 60% more than Buhari coupled with the fall in the price of crude oil from #110 per barrel in 5 years under Jonathan to a paltry #50 per barrel under Buhari administration yet Buhari was able to keep us afloat while having many projects to his name thereby surprising Ngozi Iweala and Charles Soludo who predicted recession because jonathan failed to save during the time of plentiful. Sai Baba. PDP, Neva again 11 Likes 2 Shares |

FemiEddy: God blessed Nigeria, but northern Nigeria soldiers who restructured Nigeria politically from 1967 to 1996 and proliferated a whooping large number of twenty states in one northern region, made Nigeria unworkable. From the undue large number of twenty states in one northern region, Fulani who control most of the north draws undue large number of political constituencies and representation to the federal politics, then uses the undue political representation to dictate the pace of every development in Nigeria. Fulani must largely decide who emerges president of Nigeria. Too bad. The Okonjo Iweallas, the Osinbajos and Obis from the south therefore serve the Buharis and Atikus of the north as Vice. It's either restructure Nigeria politically or breakup Nigeria into more manageable countries. 2 Likes |
