You will be debited......I had 8.5m as at yesterday....My matured TB of 1.5m today made it 10m by 2:00am today......I wrote an instruction to invest the sum of 10m last Friday and was debited about 30 minutes ago for 364days.

I knew they won't be foolish enough to repeat the same tricks they played on us two weeks ago.

I invested in I-invest and I run. All this brothers trying to justify the app, if you read previous pages I stated categorically that I approached the bank and they technically denied I-invest in my time of tribulations. I only got my Money after 3 weeks when central Bank intervened. My people, the app is supposed to be good but when you run into issues, their after service is dubious. My money was with them for 3 weeks without making 1 kobo. Go ahead and use it but be warned

That could be ur own personal experience with them which could just be one in a million. I have made interbank transfers before from using banks app whereby I was debited and didn't get the corresponding credits. The banks keeps posting me and sending me back and forth. The sender would say they have sent it and the money is not in their cofers again whereas the receiving bank would say they never receive it.

I'm wondering, why put your money away for 1 year (364 days ) for 14.5% interest when you can put the same amount in the same investment (Treasury Bills( for 91 days with 10% interest that can be immediately re-ploughed in for another 10% (interest + capital) this giving a larger compound overall interest when that is done four times (91 * 4) rather than simply 364?

If no, can anyone please recommend financial houses with good interest rates in the secondary market and allows capitalizing interest.

such shouldn't happen if iinvest is sterling Bank.

Secondly, the poster's point is about how sterling bank react to the issue like they are already dissociating themselves from the app.

How come Gtb gave 14.8% for 364 yesterday and today UBA gave me 14.65% for 363 days?

Anyone with first bank rate for yesterday primary? Was there bids successful? I need to know, cos I'm investing through them comes fortnight . Kindly update if you have any info. Thanks.

14.8% primary market. 14.65% secondary market. The difference is the profit the bank makes by buying from primary market and selling same at the secondary market.

Yes banks primary and secondary rates differ, some bank knows how best to bids in primary (such as stanbic n Firstbank) while some bids lower because they don't know how to play the bidding game and wouldn't want to lose out. 14.65 doesn't look bad but u lose say 29,000 to that rate. Cheers

Hi all, is it possible to invest in treasury bills two times in a year, perhaps using different banks.
Example, if I should use zenith bank for the 1st one (182days ), upon maturation ,can I withdraw the money and go to another bank to purchase treasury bills for another 182days?

you are lucky to get 14.65% for 363 days for secondary market. Stanbic ibtc just gave me 14.25 for 356 days. To think that I moved the bulk of the money from uba to stanbic is not interesting to me at all
