You need a minimum of 1yr work experience to be eligible.

So you need to wait till after service before applying. Try and ensure your NYSC experience is NOC 0, A or B. Teaching which a lot of people run from is applicable.

Use the 1yr to do your ECA for your 2 degrees and write your IELTS. If you max out your IELTS, you will be cross over 440 points.

Try to evaluate your ND and Bsc, you are good if you get 2 certificates. I think I have heard cases of not getting 2 certificates in situations where ND was prerequisite to Bsc. I'm not totally sure though. If need be, you can enroll for 1 year PGD or Msc with NOUN and as well attempt IELTS before you complete NYSC.

Please I checked page 1 and saw that OND and HND are calculated as 2 degrees.
Is this real?
Or it has to be one of those and bsc

I appreciate your response and the ND was not a prerequisite to Bsc(started Bsc from 100L to 400L),since I'm applying as single(not yet married but expecting a baby) is there chances of including family later on if eventually i get married before the completion of the PPR ?

Yes, you have chance of including your spouse after AOR but you have to provide updated POF, Medical & PCC for him.

Please does it matter that my accounts still bears my maiden name, do I need to change them to d surname on my passport or I can submit the statements like that?

Seniors in the house, please assist

The address on my bank account( carrying my POF) details is different from my current address ( my current address does not have electricity bill to tender at the bank when I opened the account), can this be seen as inconsistent information during submission of my profile?

I don't think it's anything to worry about but ensure that the address on your bank account is listed as one of the places you have lived in the past 10 years.

Best wishes.

Hi thanks for this information.
I have a question n please help to clear my confusion ☺️
My international passport which bears my maiden name expires in June 2019 but I have already uploaded my current passport which bears my maiden name for my MCC profile. My question is do I renew my international passport with my husband’s name (which I would love to do)or do I retain my maiden name on the passport. Please I need answers. Thanks

Ur passport has less than 6months validity on it so anytime from now till June 2019 u can go and renew it.

I think you should renew your passport with your husbands name and get the other necessary docs to back it up handy....i.e Marriage Certificate, Affidavit for change of name and newspaper publication for change of name.

Depends on the stage you are with the MCC verification process, (if you haven't gotten ECA yet) you can send them a mail with scanned copies of your new passport (notarized) and the accompanying documents. They (MCC) will effect the name change.
(I know someone who did this and it worked for her)

With that you are good to go.

But let's hear from Elders in the house....

I hope this helps though....
All the best....

You are so on point. Your concern should be ielts and proof of funds and ECA. That is assuming you aren’t up to 35 years

Go for permanent residence. It will make studying cheaper and it’s easy to get if you have all the requirements. It’s very straightforward. Go to page 1.

Let me try answer ur questions:

1. Please apply for permanent resident visa
2. You can use your NYSC period to claim 1 year work experience subject to ur job description among the NOC
3. Wes is not interested in your grade.
4. You need to register for Wes, get ur ND and HND evaluated ASAP, while waiting for Wes, use the time to prepare for IELTS.

Hope I have answered ur questions. The seniors in the house can contribute

It depends sha. I had one site where my wedding ceremony was hosted, you know all these Bella Naija type of thing? They checked it also, down to my UK uni students list hosted online. I saw it listed on my notes. Try to enter your name on Google, both married and maiden names and see where information about you pops up. I am active on Twitter, but you can't tie my other SM accounts to Twitter cos they have different email addresses and usernames. So basically, anywhere you see your names pop up on the internet is probably where they can find info about you.
.

Thanks for being a good sister from another mother to us. Really appreciate your help and assistance to us all. Please I need clarification on something that has been disturbing my mind. I deleted my LinkedIn account, anytime I enter my full name on google search after deleting the account, my name pops up among LinkedIn registered member. Am not the social media type. The only social media am active is Facebook and I login sometimes once in two weeks just to view updates. When I click it, the only information I see is my the school I graduated from, nothing more and nothing less. My question, what’s the implication of this? Thank you in anticipation.

Good Morning all,

So my husband and I are starting to seriously consider Canada. I would appreciate some guidance on the education/qualification bit. Would a PMP (Project Management Professional) and BAP (Business analyst Professional) certificate influence the points?

Thanks

For any lawyer or anyone that has gone through divorce route , Pls i need an answer to this question

is it mandatory that a couple must officially separate before divorce in Nigeria? Is there any paper work to show for it , or is it possible to file for divorce right away once a fellow wants out of a marriage.

Did you use the ND to gain direct entry admission for the BSc? If not, you're good to go ECA-wise. If you did, then use the NYSC period to also do a 1 year PGD.
It's good that you're already planning for your EE while waiting for NYSC, so ensure that you use the one year to scatter information about your job online. Social media, blog posts, join in career-related discourse or advocacy, and most importantly, make sure your PPA duties are in NOC A, B or 0

Hello all,

Please, I have a question and would appreciate all the advice I can get.

Regarding employer reference letters, I am the sole proprietor of a retail/wholesale company where I work with less than 10 people. How do I go about a reference letter? The information I have gotten from nairaland so far has been to include such documentation such as CAC docs, Third Party Referrals, Tax certificate, and Bank statement. Does anyone have any experience regarding this and how to write a job reference for yourself if required?

On the other hand, can I leave out the ownership aspect and still provide supporting documentation to show my work experience....

I would appreciate your advice especially from those who have been in my situation and got the PR or failed to get their PR's. Experience counts!

Thanks in advance
