I'd like to have those who have achieved financially stability to educate those of us that are yet to achieve financial stability how they did it in the Nigeria context. I mean you can meet all your financial obligations and still meet emergency obligations. Did you ever hard times? was there a point that money wasn't actually enough for you to do what you needed to do? how did you go about resolving it? Please enlighten us.

I can also say Dangote and Otedola have Nairaland accounts but it won't make the statement true.

@lalasticlala Don't you think this will favor Nigerian's especially at this time?

Calm down guyz, well achieving financial freedom is relative. It depends on your margin of contentment , some are happy with a house a car a good account bal etc while others need to own chains of businesses to feel accomplished.

It's also interesting to note that I could be very comfortable with a shoe worth 20k while someone else would only settle for something above 200k. So financial success also depends on your taste profile.you could have 10m but u want to live in a duplex worth 30m while ur neighbour is looking for 5m to build a 4bedroom bungalow of his dreams. Again relative.

For me,whichever class u fall into , first start by defining what success means to U.

I graduated aabt 10years back but couldn't find a job, but today I can say I am stable financially, not rich. I opened a business that I had to manage myself to ensure its success. I made sure I put myself in a business where making a million naira a month won't be rocket science but just hard work and perceverance. I put up the right attitude, made a lot of business friends and today I can say glory be to God.

I would have been specific abt what I did but it's too personal to say here, cos most of my friends are on nairaland and they would never belief I stooped that low to get to where I am today. Infact it would mean falling my hand.

For a seed to germinate it has to first be buried.

So find a business that can raise huge profits fast.
Manage it yourself
Work HARD....wake up early and sleep late.
Be persistent.
Pray hard.

Another place to post such is Reddit.
The responses from both platforms are extremely detailed and enlightening.
This place has light years to go before members start posting in the same way.
