It's a ''disputed territory" but Kenya's case makes more sense because if the court goes with Somalia's decision,it will also affects Kenya's maritime boarder with Tanzania,Mozambique,Madagascar and South Africa.Our position is that the maritime boarder should run horizontally and parallel to the line of latitude and as not as an extension to the Kenya's land boarder!

Trust me the Kenyan govt knows what its doing. This was the same case with Eritrea supplying arms to Al Shabaab when we entered Somalia. Kenya raised the issue internationally and summoned Eritrean diplomat and sure enough the arms supplies to Alshabaab diminished.

Its about offshore oil in the Indian ocean. There is a dispute over where the border line goes. You can check that up online
