Nice post I must say. But aside Germany and France , I don't think EPL is better than Italy and Spain. Let's forget about the top teams at Spain and Italy and move on to teams very low on. U see teams like Celta Vigo playing against Man utd and Arsenal can't even defeat 10 men Athletico Madrid. Looking at what Roma did to both Barca and Liverpool at home which is hard to pull, I feel Italy has the technicality also. All they do in EPL is kick and follow. EPL teams are just local champs. If ur great Sir Alex won just 2 UCL in 26 yrs. It will show u that EPL teams always bottled in Europe.
