HOW TO KNOW A PROGRAMMED OR MANIPULATED CARD READER....

Party agents should take note of the following as they get to the polling units.

1. Agent must arrive to your polling units as early as possible, at least before accreditation begins. Once accreditation begins, you won't be able to detect a manipulated card reader.

2. Upon arrival to your polling units, agent must verify the card reader brought to your unit for the election. Identify the Presiding Officer (PO) for your unit, and request him to present the card reader to the agents onground.

3. Request the PO to put on the Card Reader (if it is not already on), and request him/or her to click on "query icon" on the smart card reader.

4. Check that the card reader shows zero "0" upon clicking the query icon. If it shows zero, it is okay to be used for accreditation. If it shows any other figure before comencement of accreditation, the card reader has been pre programmed.

5. If confirmed that a figure other than "0" is displayed, agent should raise alarm and inform agents of other parties, and no accreditation should take place in that unit until the card reader is cleared.

Please this is very important as rigging in any election starts from the polling unit.

Agents should be smart enough not to miss these Steps...

We don't need all of these if sophisticated software was used, meaning.....

There must be and authentication code from inec if the card reader is valid or not..

And if it's from them or not.. This is 2019 security of a software first before implementation.

The only way to secure card readers was to make authentification of owner compulsory. So the reader not only validates the card but also that you are the rightful owner of the card.

Thus people Will not be able to use stolen, sold or uncollected cards to rig the elections. Very simple yet corrupt leaders don't want to implement it.

No need for all these Problems.
Party Agents (PDP/APC/etc) for the respective Polling Unit, will be available to escort INEC Adhoc staff from LGA Locations to their respective Unit. Don't embarrass yourself, the above nonsense is the duty party APO-2 and party agents.

All you need to do is hand over your card to APO-2 who is the card reader handler. watch as your card display your details on the screen device.
DONT use foolishness to cause confusion for innocent ad-hoc staff, who have been sleepless overnight just to serve you during the election.

I av been to an election where party agents came together to process the rigging of the election..

I mean, party agents. That means some party agents worked against their own party due to small change given to them..

As for security men, forget them. They are bought already..

As we speak, some people approached my mom and asked her to drop her voters card, that they will pay them huge money. My mom declined and later called me to inform me..


Another friend of mine in Lagos, said a woman collected her voters card and copied the serial number.. But she didn't know the essence. That it was later she realized that the woman was busy collecting others too.

She was informed that a big politician gave the woman the contract to collect PVC and their details.

As we speak, some people don manufacture votes already..

Nigerians have already developed programmed and manipulated ones.

And also why the card reader is a sensitive material just like the ballot paper...no agent can tell the p.o to do that....

The p.o will do that when it's time for the election to commence .
