Can you all stop bashing the guy that is happy for picking Tobi, if that's the motivation he needs, let it be, it's not anybody business who he tags a "star". Given the opportunity some of you will have preference on who take in your vehicles.

Black man and emotional flip flops. I was looking to see where the star dashed him some little stars(money) after all he's in this business to make money. Same emotion driven sentiment that make people vote demagogues over a better candidate because he's from their ethnic or religious group.

When I was still driving, I picked up two guys from Ikoyi to Lekki, I no even look their face, at a point I was convinced I was carrying Yahoo boys, they were just calling figures and pressing their laptops and even starting speaking in coded languages. I just wanted the trip to end. When we arrived Lekki, they told me to wait and dashed into one house like that, when they came back, I still no send them and one of them asked me "don't you know that this is Davido's house" I just replied really? After some time he asked again, don't you know Dre' (abi Drake) I replied that I don't know. Come and see and as he take de look me one kind eh and silence prevailed till I dropped them. When the trip finished he made sure he collected his N80 change.

I wonder what the reaction of our star carrying driver will be. No wonder some drivers treat drivers like pieces of shit.

True talk...at times I Google their names after viewing on Truecaller. How can you be on ehailing for 3 months and you wouldn't pick a rich biz man or a so called star?

Very difficult to separate sentiments from politics...it is even one of the politicians strong pillar to get votes.

People are not happy with the options, someone recently said/asked 'how do you identify the difference between a left and a right Stocking?'

A final closure came for 38-year-old Adekunle Tade, an uber driver whose body was found in Lagos lagoon after he was reported missing since December. He was laid to rest at about 8:16p.m. last Thursday at African Church Cathederal, Ifako.

The burial, which was restricted to three clerics, family members, deceased’s wife and two children, took place in the graveyard located behind the church premises. Those who had gathered to pay their last respects were however horrified when it was discovered that the size of the casket did not fit the dug grave, which led to a new construction at the gravesite.

It was a long wait for the deceased to be committed to mother earth after several autopsy conducted on the body at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) delayed the burial earlier scheduled for 12noon.However, the children of Adekunle were bathing in tears during the burial of their father who was allegedly tortured and murdered by his car owner, Mrs. Andry Nwokedi.

Tade who drive for the car owner, Mrs. Andry was allegedly attacked by armed robbers who boarded his car from airport road, Ikeja on 4th of December 2018.Although he reported the case to Ilepo police station that the car was snatched but the car owner, Andry was not pleased with his story which made her invite him over to her apartment.

His friend, Mr. Kehinde Olatono who accompanied him to grant Andry’s visit at her apartment claimed that he heard some strange noise inside the house while waiting for his friend outside which made him ran to see what was happening but was shocked to see his friend being tortured on a bare floor.Although Tade never returned home after the torture but was declared missing till his body was found in the lagoon some weeks ago.The family of Adekunle has therefore appeal to Lagos State police to seek for justice for the deceased.

A part of this story must be missing. After his friend witnessed his torture, what happened next? Was he released? Did his friend run away and didn’t report to the nearest police station? His friend should be questioned.

Drivers on rental, please ehailing is a hustle you do only for a while, then you move on to other things. The odds are stacked against you, whichever way you think about it. Its only a very few car owners out there that are God-fearing, the rest will eat you raw.
I did ehailing for 18 months, in those 18 months, I incorporated my company and pushed out proposals. I have some projects going, I've been signed up on some contracts. A job desk with good enough salary > #250k monthly awaits me (resumption, 01/03/2019). I've returned the last car I drove to the owner last week. You cannot imagine how relieved I am.

Please ehailing is a side hustle. Quickly arrange yourself and move forward. God bless us all

Car owners dealt with me, ehn. I get story.
#1. Toyota Yaris, the first car I rented on ehailing. One day like that I was going to Oyingbo from Yaba bus stop. At the turning into Commercial Avenue, one danfo driver overtook me from the right and crossed in front of me to turn into Commercial Avenue. He collided with the car, damaging the right front fender, the right front wheel shock absorber, the headlight cover (right, front) broke, and the 2 side mirrors got detached (danfo crushed one, while the impact of the collision pushed me in the path of an Okada passing one way who also yanked off the other).
I detained the danfo driver and his danfo at Sabo Police Station and called the car owner. Oga said "Hold the Danfo driver well well, no let am go". I told him I've already detained him at Sabo, that they were preparing to charge him to court sef for driving without a license and for causing malicious damage. Oga said "ehn ehn, well done. Na so". I told Oga, Station DTO is asking for #20,000 to charge the case to court (LASTMA inspection, Crime Diary entry, DPO approval etc), Oga said "hold the Danfo driver well".
Aaaaahhhhhh! Is it mouth I will use to hold the Danfo driver? Oga, Oga, come Police Station, DTO wan even see owner of car. Oga said "tell DTO say I no dey Lagos. I don travel go South Africa". Meanwhile, bus owner and Danfo driver were using God and the heads of their children to beg me. DTO was asking me how far, make him proceed?

I considered everything and told DTO I don't want any case. He should release danfo driver and the bus. They thanked me, DTO released everybody (I still pay am #5,000). I got home that night with the car. Called Oga, told him what I did. Oga went ballistic. I told him you didn't show up, there's no input from you. You just kept pushing me forward, so what do I do? Give DTO #20,000 and leave the car with the Police till the case is settled? Maybe in 6 months time? Oga, I didn't hear from you, so I did as my spirit led me.

Next morning, I called Oga Gazzuzz, told him I have a car I need repaired. Gazzuzz said I should come. Drove to the workshop with my son. After assessment, I got repairs estimate of about #80,000 excluding the cost of replacing the two damaged mirrors. Gazzuzz told me to bring the comprehensive insurance so he can send the bill to the insurance company. I called car owner, the repair garage is asking for comprehensive insurance. Oga said him no wan use the insurance now, say make I hol Danfo driver well well. "Shebi you still get him number and address? Use Police go carry am for house, make you hol am well well". The Oga no get comprehensive insurance for him vehicle. I was a newbie naa, so I fell mugu, driving car with third party insurance. Last last, I paid for those repairs from my pocket. I also replaced the side mirrors (additional #25,000) from my pocket. Repairs completed in about one week after the incident. Immediately I retrieved the car from Oga Gazzuzz workshop, I called car owner to let him know I was with the car now. "Ehn, ehn, when are you going to send me the #40,000 rental for last week?". Excuse me, the car was undergoing repairs all through last week. I sent you the garage's invoice, I gave you the phone numbers of the owner of the garage, I gave you the address .... "Deji, you think say I be JJC for this business? You forget say I be Bini boy? That garage belongs to your friend. Na both of una arrange this scam wey you wan scam me. Send my money, abeg, me I no dey for all this talk wey you dey talk". I just weak. I paid his money, then dropped his car for him.
Car owners are wicked.

Next time don't leave danfo drivers alone for their crime, they will do the same thing to another person and gets away with it by begging.
At times danfo drivers will tell u that they will damage ur car without anything happening... such people who say this are the one who Beggs when they damage people car.

You too fall my hand seriously.... you are in lagos OK so u should behave like a lagosian. Good day and pls next time don't ever try to leave alone danfo drivers when they damage cars.

A job desk with good enough salary > #250k monthly awaits me (resumption, 01/03/2019). I've returned the last car I drove to the owner last week. You cannot imagine how relieved I am.

Please ehailing is a side hustle. Quickly arrange yourself and move forward. God bless us all
congrats bro. Happy for U. Ehailing should really be a side hustle not every thing
