http://www.titopeblog.com/2019/02/nigeria-elections-amina-zakari-not-in.html

Mike Igini, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Akwa Ibom State, has said that Amina Zakari is no longer in charge of electoral operations and logistics at the Independent National Electorial Commission (INEC).

Speaking on Channels Television, Igini called for an end to criticism and complaints targeted at Zakari, following the postponement of the general elections on account of logistic challenges.

“I want to appeal to Nigerians that, this time, let us not just be name-calling without fact-checking some of the things people talk about. Amina Zakari is no longer the Chairperson of electoral operations.

“The person in charge of electoral operations today is Professor (Okechukwu) Ibeanu,” Igini said.

He also claimed that the issues concerning arrangements for NYSC members, and the welfare of ad hoc staff fell under him.

Mrs Zakari, who is the Chairman of the INEC Committee on Collation Centre for the general elections, has been the subject of controversy before now, with the opposition alleging that she is related to President Muhammadu Buhari.

In an interview last month, she insisted she was not related to the President and argued that she has always done her job professionally.

To echo what someone said in another thread, apc is getting too dull for my liking, wtf?

How can the opposition be intimidating you with plan of rigging while you (the ruling) rather remain on the defensive?

This is not the norm in Nigerian election. It is the opposition that tries to prevent the ruling from rigging, never the other way round.

If apc go dull demselves and allow these desperate thieves to take over this country, this country will remain doomed till only God knows when. Wtf.

Or could it be that some apc members have signed pact with athifku since Buhari is not allowing them to steal ni?

Fine, may we know what she's in charge of?

Or you are 'unaware'.

APC has a lady related by marriage as a key official
APC has an individual who was contracted to supply sensitive equipment (2011, 2015 and now 2019) and is currently contesting for a position under the same APC.

But it is PDP that is influencing INEC.

Yeye dey wetin?!

I was wondering how would the Nigerian Military Defend Buhari if atiku declared himself president elected and swear in from Ghana.

if buhari adamantly want to fight back. will the Nigeria Soldiers fight for him or just surrendered because it will be a senseless war for them to die for nothing.

and if they should fight with all resource and might how far can they go?

and couple with the fact that the Niger Delta Avengers will resume bombing of pipe line from their new threat's which would hurt the economy greatly.

how far can the Nigeria military defends buhari against foreign US invasion to install the authentic president elect?

Failing PDP and their looting members should let this woman be so she can do her job. Hypocrites everywhere.

Why are they not calling out or even asking for the resignation of Okechukwu Ibeanu who causes the postponement of the elections because he cannot handle the simple task of logistics he is responsible for?

PDP is already gathering excuses why they will fail in next weekend election.

Party of looters and killers

Has to be fake because it’s unprofessional for INEC to be pointing fingers in-house. Just fire whoever is reponsible and we’ll draw conclusions from there.

We know na. The person in charge of logistics is Okechukwu Ibeanu. PDP and their baseless propaganda. You need to see how these stupid PDP goons flood people WhatsApp with their lies everyday.

A vote for Buhari is a vote for continuity of our railway project.

It's a vote for judicious use of our little resources which has been drastically reduced due to global fall in the price of crude oil sold to international communities.

It could be likened to a market woman who sells 20 number of corns at a rate of 110 naira per each daily. Years later, the market leaders eventually reduced and controlled the price at 50 naira. The market woman is still expected to sell same 20 number of corns but nothing higher than this. Tell me if the woman's income would increase or decrease? However, if the woman had saved enough when the corn was still priced at 110 naira, she wouldn't be affected by the fall in sales price, pending the time sale price would increase once again.

That's the situation of Nigeria today. When crude oil which is our main source of foreign revenue was selling at $110 per barrel for more than 5 years under Jonathan, Jonathan didn't save but looted us dry instead. We're suffering from this effect today now that crude oil has been selling at a poverty rate of $50 per barrel for the past 4 years under Buhari yet Buhari administration has had so many projects undertaken by him despite earning 60% less.

If only people knew what other oil countries such as Angola and Venezuela are passing through during this global crude oil price recess, they would thank God Buhari came in rather than Jonathan who looted us dry despite oil boom when crude oil was selling at $110 per barrel for five years unlike the paltry $50 it has been selling under APC. If the looting Jonathan couldn't save during the time of plenty and was already borrowing, how would he have carried on during this crude oil price recess?

Despite Buhari administration earning 60% less yet he's come up with plenty projects such as

Our railways at itakpewarri, Lagos-ibadan, Lagos-Abeokuta, kaduna-abuja etc,

The production of low cost fertilizers,

Zik maoseleum

Baro inland port,

Kaduna inland dry port,

Port Harcourt airline terminal,

Abuja airline terminal,

Rice mills,

Foreign reserve increase from $26b to $43b,

Construction of our express highways such as enuguonitsha, Lagos-ibadan etc.

Social policy schemes such as tradermoni, npower etc

Payment of all pensions of airline staffs that were forced to retire after the shambolic privatisation by Atiku. PDP didn't pay them in the last 16 years.

And most especially, stabilizing us through this recession which happened because jonathan failed to save despite earning 60% more than Buhari. Note that there's been a global fall in the price of crude oil from $110 per barrel in 5 years under Jonathan to a paltry $50 per barrel under Buhari administration yet Buhari was able to keep us afloat while having many projects to his name thereby surprising Ngozi Iweala and Charles Soludo who predicted recession because jonathan looted and failed to save during the time of plentiful.

Sai Baba. PDP, Neva again

Why is it so hard for this woman to be moved to another ministry? She is a public servant for Christ sake. INEC expends so much energy in explaining the fact that she is not in charge of A...B....or C.

Transfer her to another minstry. How hard is that?

She will when Okechukwu Ibeanu resign for messing up the logistics of the election that resulted into the postponement.
