Hello bosses

Please can anyone share with me the problems associated with a 2008 VW Jetta 2.5L?

Plus

Cost of maintenance

Fuel consumption

I am considering getting one but I just trying to be safe.

If you do everything yourself--import from Copart--you can probably get a 2006 IS250 for about 2m. You should be able to maintain it with your income.

Cheers.
HeavenlyBang how do I go about importing a good vehicle from copart? Can we discuss it privately?.

Fuel is not the issue. Costs of maintenance is it. German cars are not designed to tolerate abuses. No. And they do not take kindly to roadside workshop repairs.. But the drive experience, speed and interiors is what no Japanese can match!

So, I'm here with a comparison question. The answerer becomes the questionnaire. grin
I'm looking to upgrade and I have a few options right now. I already have solid information on all of them but I'd prefer to have opinions from others, especially since I bet some of you have actually driven a number of these.

Criteria:
Straight line performance
Handling
Total driving experience
Reliability
Cost of maintenance
Badge prestige
Luxury (fit and finish, ride quality)
Technology and features

My options
2007 Infiniti G35 sedan
2006 CLK 500
2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe
2004/2005 Porsche Cayenne S
2006 Lexus IS350

Buy the Porsche and I will personally mobilize boys to collect 'owo ile' from you. I'm always fascinated by the lexus IS350. I personally don't like any coupe that much so the CLK 500 and the G37 undecided. Heard the G35 is a powerful toy and fun to drive with no good resale value in nigeria. My personal choice will be the Lexus.

I'm not really bothered about resale value. I'll probably drive whatever I buy for a few years, then give it out, hopefully.

Yeah, I've been convinced to stop considering the Cayenne. I'm also not a fan of SUVs, so there's that, too.

Toyota corolla for fuel economy and pocket friendly maintenance.

if you prefer camry the 2009 with the 2.5L i4 2AR engine is better in fuel economy and pocket friendly maintenance than the 07 and 08

I have love for the Toyota camry 2008 sport american spec because of its interior fierceful look and prestige it add to your personality. I want you guys to assist me with the likely and common issues with this car as I am about to pay.

I hear it has oil burn and eratic AC functionality.

Kindly assist with the disadvantage of using this car to give me an informed decision of either to go on with it or decline.

Thank you

Hi friends!
I would really appreciate it if I could get your thoughts and recommendations for purchasing a car.
My budget is between 1.3M - 1.8M. It 'd be for personal use and very much likely would use it for a ride-hailing service when I'm off work or during my spare time.
So, my considerations are fuel economy, durability, ease of maintenance and driveability. Some luxury would be cool too.
I could exceed the budget slightly for something really good close to that range.
Thanks for all the help!!!
