İ have a problem using the ets powerprep on my laptop. If you experienced any problem with it, please guide me on what İ need to do.

I’m currently preparing applications for a Masters in Electrical Engineering (non-thesis), I recently took the Gre which really hit me but I’ve decided to proceed using it. Please I will greatly appreciate any help

My profile
GPA (free wes evaluation): 3.8/4
GRE: 153Q, 155V
IELTS: 8.0
Work experience: Industrial training for 6 months (and NYSC posting to a school)

I have tried to pick out a few schools that I think would fit my profile (mostly as a result of the Gre)
Texas tech
Texas state
University of texas Dallas
University of texas Elpaso
Texa A&M kingsville

However I can only afford to apply to 3 schools, please I would appreciate your suggestions and advice, I’m also open to other school suggestions (preferably in Texas. Thank you

Why are you going for a non thesis program with this great GPA of yours and your GRE score is not bad at all. Please apply to MS/PhD programs and am sure you will get funding with this profile.

Today 17th Feb make it 15 days that I have written my TOEFL. Any idea why the delay of test score because its stated on the ets website that they release score approximately 10days after test.

Hello, i have been a tacit member here. Also, preparing to write my GRE soon. Please how did you go about your free WES evaluation for GPA.

The ETS power prep may not work on your laptop. This is what you will do. Find enough data, log into your GRE account. Go to shop for test preparation materials. You can buy two power prep full tests for $0.00. And you can only take it online (through your GRE account)

Log onto the WES official website and use their free GPA calculator to convert your GP. It is easy to do. If after this you then need an official evaluation, you can then pay for an official and certified one.

Haba, you dont need to get a supervisor before applying go U.S schools. U.S is not like canada or Australia. Just apply, they will match you with a supervisor.

On Friday night, i became restless when one of my friends got his third acceptance with full funding in Chemistry while none of my applications have made a decision. I was like, "is it that they are not seeing my application?" I just turned off my data and slept off. So i woke up yesterday morning and turned on my data only to receive two emails from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute that i have been admitted for their PhD in Chemical Engineering with full mouth watery funding.
Am super excited about the offer! But i am still waiting for Ga Tech and Minnesota so i will just wait.
Fall2019, we're going somewhere.

Haba, you dont need to get a supervisor before applying go U.S schools. U.S is not like canada or Australia. Just apply, they will match you with a supervisor.

Let it not be that the reject turninoniown o... Lol
It was my high reach school anyway... Nothing spoil just application fee burn...
And they told me not to apply there o.... But Mumu me,mumu me.... I still carry my big head go there. No lele make them use my money do scholarship.

Well it’s nothing you don’t know, depends on where you might come from, some companies/organization often do this as part of their service to the host community.

I get your point sire. but could you please give me a little bit of guideline. I have some few oil and gas companies situated in my community that offers academic scholarships upto undergrad level . maybe I could walk upto them. but then I need to be guided properly, hence my humble request for guidance and necessary supporting documents to go along with.

Oh seen. Your GRE isn't competitive enough for ivy league schools and your GPA isn't stellar. So there is no surprise here though. I believe you will get in other schools you listed
