Lagos is too mighty to be compared with Kenya , you could see clearly from the graph bellow how Lagos has been growing profoundly even before the completion of Dangote refinery,Eko Atlantic, BRT expansions, Light rail,Lekki Aiport .
Please study this graph and tell me if it possible for Kenya to catch up with Lagos ?

Another ignorance here , Greater Accra region alone has 10 billion dollar worth of GDP and yet is less than 4million. compare that population woth lagos state.

Greater accra has fewer population, it has less consumable market , it even have small GDP. yet by ration is raking more cash than lagos state.

This is stupid as it sound. remove al the 35 state direct amd indirect unvestment to lagod state and let see what will be legt of lagos state. if lagos state were to be a counntry on its, it can be richer than togo. All the 35 remaining state were contributing to lagos ayate economy.

Ghana should hide its face in shame I think Nigeria should remain silent if togo is talking...... it isn't about how big, it s about how best.

Greater Accra's population as at 2010 was 4 million.. We are in 2019,give us the latest population figure or I will peg Lagos's population to 9 million as per the 2006 census.

Accra and tema are the most industrialized part of Ghana and they are in greater Accra.. 10 billion USD is all you can boast of of? Lmao. Accra is even your capital!

And how's Accra raking in more cash than Lagos? Post the revenue here let's see!

And your last paragraph is just as lame as your moniker.. grin .. Lagos has the biggest consumer market in Nigeria,so its expected to attract investment from the other 36 states! Or don't you know that? grin

Lagos economy is bigger than better than Ghana: Fact!
Ghana should try and aim for Ogun state level..that's another state that has no oil nor gold and with a lesser population but is still doing well grin

Let me help you help you with your calculation....if accra had 20 million residents, then your gdp will be 50 billion dollars which is still nothing compared to lagos gdp....and we were comparing lagos with the entire Ghana whose population is 29.6 million why lagos is just 20 million. ...and for the record no state adds to lagos instead lagos adds to other state apart from abuja....or you meant to say other state adds to abuja ( understandable )

Nigerians have a fetish for GDP! There's a new angle of thought in economics known as 'GDP FETISHISM'

Nigerians wankk of their GDP.Joseph Stiglitz, the Columbia University economist (a Nobel Prize laureate who once taught at the University of Nairobi), calls it GDP fetishism (probably for a lack of better word). Be wary of GDP fetishists.

Whilst many Nigerians will come to Kenya for a myriad of reasons, very very little to no Kenyan would head to Nigeria simply because that GDP isn't anywhere to be seen on the ground or the place isn't the 'real deal'.The country has the largest population of poor people, that big GDP is silent on this. The average Egyptian is richer than the average Nigerian, that's a fact.Ghana is more livable that Nigeria, this is another fact!

They will throw their ' BIG GDP' when the arguments turn murkier on their side! As Ally-Khan Satchu an economist based in Nairobi said,''We don't eat GDP'

Be wary of the GDP fetishists!

https://www.econlib.org/library/Columns/y2010/HendersonGDP.html

Chinese are many in Kenya. Does that mean Kenya is richer than China? grin

Ooops grin
