There is no Global version or ROM for RN7 right now, if you see any run it is a fake ROM at least till when it is launched for the global market

I think we should stop complaining about ud fp....this is just a new technology improvement. ...give oem time to develop it ....it is not uptoa year old , so there will be alot to fix...even early phones with conventional fp like samsung s5 was annoying to use........ud fp make things look futuristic ...I guess we cannot take selfie with ud fp unlike conventional. ....I believe with time sha...everything go smooth....na ud camera me dey wait for

my problem is the unnecessary cost it adds on phones not created by xiaomi, yet it isn't even 85% reliable. Actually my real pain is that it may be on redmi note 7 pro and I've never liked this "pioneering" that they do on mid range phones

guy na...this is new tech, it have to be expensive..... with time, they will develop it more....ok even custom rom, when it first come out, will it be stable? its will time da everything will start going in place....so as this ud fp...software update, monthly patch/fix will make things smooth....we just have to be patient. ..let oem workon it more.....later you will see da is u da will be craving for ud fp grin

Some people are just Sissy, especially this guy with such lame reasons to avoid UD FP. Just negodu? No illumination! Does the conventional FP scanner has a illumination to guide one's finger?
And he keeps using OP6T which personally, I'm not a fan of that phone. Especially it's software.
I've not had any problem with the In screen FP of my Vivo Nex S so far, so good.
PS: That's his opinion but it's so lame.

but i prefer powerbutton-mounted fp sha.....I wish we could use fp to power on our phones sef.....like if you power off ur phone, nobody can on it...they cannor even flash it sef...or access bootloader with fp....aswear da one go sweet....if them tiff your phone, they go use style return am ...

Of course, you don't need to wake up ur device, just tap on the region where the In screen FP is placed, and the device unlocks.
I even use it to unlock some apps, Google pay works effortlessly.
If anyone/device is having some complications, It should be a software flaw.

I think illumination in d sense that ..in the dark, you can feel the fp hole at the back...so you just put ur finger there nd unlock, while for udfp , when d screen is off, you just know da d fp is at the lower part of d moddle of the phone, you dont know where, so you just have to press anywhere until it unlock. ....but why do that when u can just turn on screen with power button nd the fp path will show...... I think experience is d best teacher sha

The ultrasonic in-display FP reader even have more area coverage than the ones used on the OnePlus, oppo, Vivo and the likes.
