Saturday’s election is crucial to Market reaction in NSE, Buhari’s victory ushered a bull run in 2015, whose victory will usher in “mad” bull. Atiku or Buhari.

Buhari will usher in a mini bull while Atiku will usher in a mad bull.

If you are scared of loosing money, I will suggest you stick with Treasury bills or Federal Government Bonds.

There is no way you want to do it that the stock you buy won't drop in price. If you don't have the heart for it, just forget it. Even if you choose an undervalued stock, it can still drop in price.

But if you are not moved by instant gratification and can endure pain, and you won't have sleepless nights, then by all means you are welcome. I am sure many will put you through. Though I will advise you to do your own research and learn how to read financial statements, stocks are not just numbers, they are part ownership of a business. Know what you want to buy, why you are buying it and why you want to keep it. The moment you lose track of one of this things, trouble starts.

As you have rightly said.
I am not looking for instant gratification, I just want a long term investment.
I can endure the pain,(once I know how it works, I can invest in the right ones, as long as I don't loose capital)
And yes, I won't have sleepless nights .
I am after the knowledge as of now.
Can you direct me where to go for the information.

Market goes into auction by 2.20pm. You cannot submit orders after 2.20pm but mandates submitted before this time can still match between 2.20pm and 2.30pm

Gracias

Trading opens now at 10.00am and closes 2.20pm. 2.20pm-2.30pm is for MM I think.
I actually edited the post to reflect the current status

The most important thing is for the election to be conclusive...
Either Buhari or Atiku should emerge as the winner .....
Likely serious bull for Atiku presidency....
Think investors will be more optimistic about Atiku/Obi presidency...
Atiku is an old politician.... we should expect proper coordination ...
While PMB presidency ensure continuity & status quo...
Investors will show less optimism.....

Rumours have it that this Saturday’s election will not be conclusive. They want it staggered. INEC under serious presure .

Joke of the year! You have no idea what you’re talking about! And your analysis sound more like you’re campaigning for Atiku or Obi or PDP.
The only way NSE will rally is when Buhari wins .
Let me tell you something. We all know that Buhari will win comfortably in the north . And if at all he will lose the election, then it will be because of block votes from southeast/ southsouth to pdp ,which is not even feasible. But this is just an analogy.
If the majority of the northern states and Buhari himself are not comfortable with the Election results . and Buhari makes just one wrong statement that will trigger unrest and maybe violence in the nation . Na only “Go” an average Hausa/Fulani hear . Dem no dy hear come .
You know the rest .

NSE go red , ehn!
You sef go fear !
