The IPOB Leader said this on Wednesday night in a live broadcast.

Let me tell you the truth,you can't get referendum now because it is not in the 1999 constitution and current Biro robbers we have in the parliament will not insert it in the constitution anytime soon. The only way nnamdi KANU could have gotten that was to form a model party that will win the heart of people in the east and we can use that as a lunch pad to reach out to the south south and north central that are already fed up with Nigeria by so during we can hold Nigeria to ransom very easily. representatives from the three regions can hold Nigeria to ransom. You don't just wake up and start shouting referendum.
