I swear to God 96% of Kenya counties are slums , take Central Province for example, it got Nyandarua,Nyeri, Kirinyaga,Murang'a and Kiambu, the nice place in this province is "some part" of Kiambu and Nyeri counties , the rest are nothing but slums.
At Coast Province level , the only nice place is some "Very tiny " part of Mombasa CBD and some part of tourist areas of Lamu ,places like Taita-Taveta, Kwale,Kilifi(expect the tiny Italian areas) ,Tana River are nothing but shit .
Northeast Kenya,Nyanza,Rift Valley and Western Province are totally slums.

Why would tourist and business choose to visit and live in slummish Nairobi.Nairobi benefited from British foresight and is well planned.I cannot say the same of new towns in Kenya cropping up.Only Kigali has managed to pull a slummish city into modern city.Tough luck lagos outside the few rich man islands . Nairobi this year has demolished nearly 1b dollars worth of real estate to maintain its status as modern city.You can live in Nairobi without having to see a slum.They exist in nooks and crannies..like armpits of a city...valleys and alleys
