Erm I just Want to chip in a little somethimg about the age-cheat paro... Well I believe all Nigerian players cheat.... Wait

Its not a bad thing per say, and no be today he start but at the same time no be all of them cheat.... Atleats osaze, iwobi and our oyinbo breeds them might not cheat... It's a normal thing in football to remove 5-7 years off your age... I also had dreams of playing like all kids in the hood... It's normal... And thankfully it's being tackled and not very prevalent,

I'm my opinion removing 4-5 years no be anything really and I'm assuming most of our players(and Africa at large, South America and other part of the world still engage in the practice)...

Pls always make sure to remember that things are really different in Nigeria and Africa... Most of us just dey one academy dey train, maybe I'd be 25 and can easily slot for u20, GOD help you one team in Belgium sign u, you don go be that.... Do you know Raheem lawal(wole).. Played in turkey and handful of match for the super eagles, I remember when he played u23, meanwhile his immediate younger sister was older than me with 1 year (I was 22 then or so)..... Same with this guy okechukwu (okey) played for Chan eagles.. The lefty guy.... We played together once and his real age should be around 26-28,that I'm very sure of,cuz his junior brother man's their popsy spare part shop in my street and he should be 23-24...so it's not rocket science to reduce age...

But the Koko is if your not my parent, guardian or have my birth certificate, then whatever age you can deduce from my appearance is your problem... My age is the age i say my age it is....

Thank you bro

As far as you remove 4/5 years from your age i dont consider that as cheat as far as you are comming from africa, no be those one wey dey commot 10 years ,life no easy sha and to make am from this part of africa hard and same goes to some south america

I think Ola Aina has done enough at club level to be given a chance to make the RB position his own. I have been liking what I've been seeing from the lad in Serie A this season.

We have all accepted there is age cheating in Nigeria and Africa at large. In as much as you can point players u know personally that were involved in age cheating I have in time past here also pointed out players that I know personally that used their real age.

What I personally dislike is the condemnation of our players based only on photo appearances. Some even go as far as wishing the team to crash out and writing off the players that they will never make it to the SE.

I Condemn age cheating, in fact we all here do here. But we must also have it at the back of our minds that not all our players cheat with their ages.

You who has become so used to corruption that you no longer see it as an evil that must be crushed, rather adopting it as an inevitable way of life and a "normal thing".

You have the temerity to publicly defend age cheating and even make excuses for it, and you worry why Nigeria is the way it is today?. Wallahi, shame dey catch me on your behalf.

He still has defensive frailties.

I think the wing back position suits him better. He plays left and right wing back pretty well.

Age cheating is one of the major factors affecting football development in Nigeria. Under 20 is meant for 18 and 19 year olds. A 25 year old playing under 20 will be 30 in 5 years time. This means that the player is already on the decline when he should be entering into his prime.

This is partly the reason why we are not producing super stars anymore. These guys are finished before they come to the limelight.

In addition, age cheating in south America is not as rampant as it is in Nigeria. Not even close. Many of these Brazilian and Argentinian stars were discovered as kids.

im not the problem boss, and it's not the players fault either.... Where is the facility.. Do we have any system... What is the update of our principal cup competition do we have a system to integrate and monitor young ones from the onset... In Nigeria it's a jungle... Nobody will discover or help you... I know many of my guys and teammate who are wasted talents... How many I Wan count... So I'm 25 and playing, training all day, all night... And I got an opportunity to make my life better and you expect me to say Im 25.... We just gotta do what we gotta do... I'm just happy it's gradually toning down lately... There's is nothing you or me can do about it... Look at Neymar, Ronaldo, hazard blah blah you can always see the transition from u10, 13,15 17,20,23 etc... Clubsides snap them young and nurture them.. You'd here stories of how flamengo, Santos or one club took them when they were younger.... Tell me have you ever heard where eyimba or kano pillars snap up a young prospect and nurture them, tell me shay the players for enyimba or kano pillars fc don chop, talk less of under 13 or 15...here you nurture yourself till you break out, if you get injury nko ko Kan aiye na ur mama problem be that... It's extremely hard for a Real 17 years or a true u20 to break out themselves in this country... Abi no be Nigeria we dey again....

If we are really serious about real age then go to secondary schools and get the real ones, but if it's still the same ol find your way football till you make it, then I'm afraid we still gonna get the same 25 years as u20 and so on...

Facts,Ola Aina is the best performing Nigsria defender this season and whether RB or RWB he is the best,so left for Rohr to decide but funny enough Shehu Abdullahi is Rohr preffered choice.
