Sensationalism. I can bet the assessment is based on ignorance of the government. The article even says NNPC is the debt collection arm of government. Too much ignorance. |

Nigerians are very unpatriotic. Foreign companies owes your government monies that can be used to improve your country but you are here insulting your government for asking defaulting companies to pay because of politics. This is very sad. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Who is this rookie economist? Is that how Europe and America joke with tax holiday? No economy grows without taxes. In as much we encourage more investors into the country does not give room to unnecessary free lunch. monkautos: |

martineverest: As in, it's really frustrating as well. You read some comments and be like " Did this person actually to school"?. It's a general problem with the educational system that does not allow for free thinking or teach people how to think critically. |

How is that even possible? These guys literarily work hand in hand with NNPC. How hard is it to deduct taxes and royalties directly from their earnings? These people are not that stupid. The last time I checked agreement can be reached with banks to automatically deduct and remit taxes. Believe this at your own peril |
