The Director, DLSS, Prof. Gregory Okagbare has flagged off an inspection tour of facilities in study centres in prisons.

The tour, which covers prisons in the south-west, kicked off this morning at the Ikoyi prison.

The Coordinator of prisons in Lagos, Mr Athan Onyeokoro was part of the team.

Okagbare had earlier visited Abeokuta to ascertain the state of facilities.

Any students having issues of blocked portal should not come to the school unless you know u didn't do anything wrong or you have someone who can plead on your behalf. It has come to my notice that students might be arrested due the agreement form signed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Candidates should possess a minimum of B.SC/B.TECH/HND certificate with evidence of completion of NYSC
Additional Information on Requirements:

NOUN will not appoint and promote at the same time, and will place candidates at a salary scale appropriate to their qualifications and experience.

NOUN will not entertain any petition for upgrade of salary or adjustment in rank once a candidate has been appointed and acceptance letter submitted.

All appointed staff are required to be physically and actively resident in the respective department either in Lagos, Kaduna or Abuja. NOUN does not have and will not provide staff housing.

Further, all applicants are expected to be fully computer literate and comprehensively familiar with internet and online technologies of instruction, particularly as it pertains to Open and Distance Learning.

Candidates who have reached retirement age or were retired from another service need not apply.
In compliance with Federal Character Commission regulations, NOUN will consider employing applicants from the six Geopolitical Zones in Nigeria and reserves the right to ensure this balance in its shortlisting of potential employees.

Remuneration
The salary and other conditions of service are similar to what obtains in the Nigeria University System. Candidates will be offered position commensurate with their qualifications and experience.

Extra-curricular activities and any other relevant information
Reports from three (3) referees should be independently sent to the Registrar, two (2) of the referees must be authorities in the candidates area of specialisation. Candidates whose Referees did not submit their report directly to the Registrar on or before 15th March, 2019 will not be shortlisted for the interview.

HOW TO LOAD YOUR WALLET WITHOUT GOING TO THE BANK

Step 1
Login to your portal

+ Click on Manage Wallet

+ Select Load Wallet

Fill all necessary fields, take note of the email address, phone number in your portal, if you don't have access to it or it's not yours please change it to the email & phone number you have access to because your receipt and invoice will be sent there.

+ Input the amount you want to pay. E.g 43000 without a comma

"Select Payment Method"

Choose "MasterCard"

Then click pay

Step 2

You will be redirected to a remita portal . Take Note of your RRR Number it has (hyphen) 1102-2580-6598 (12digits number) sample

Scroll down , Select Method of Payment (MasterCard)
Click on mastercard a column will show

Enter ATM Card Name

Enter your atm card number (note: it's 16 in number)

Enter the expiry date (e.g: 21/20) you'll see the expiry date on ur card �

Then enter ur ccv number (flip ur atm card � to the back you'll see 3digits written there, enter the number)

Then click on pay.

Step 3

A pop up will appear, asking you to enter your Otp Code

A code will be sent to you as sms, type in the code and you're done. Success.

An attachment of your payment will be sent to your email address, mind you your RRR code is on the attachment.

Now go back to Noun Portal, and DON'T LOGIN click on Check RRR

Type in the RRR code and submit

Now login,

Click on Manage Wallet

Select on Check Payment

Enter the RRR and submit

Your wallet funding will reflect.

This process might look long, trust me it's not.

please help me ooo i applied for change of center in my formal state before relocating to another when i went to the new noun in my current city they said am suppose to bring a letter which i was not told in the formal place now i contacted the formal place and they said the letter needs to be approved am really really confused because i cant travel back there again ....my question now is am i the one responsible to go and stamp letter or it is the formal noun center that is suppose to do it for me please what should i do

Happening NOUN in Port Harcourt: Officials of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) from Port Harcourt Area Office are taking the students of Port Harcourt Study Centre on IT/SIWES orientation at the main auditorium of the study centre in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Representing the centre director, Prof. Shirley Yul-Ifode, is Dr. Angela Abaa, chief counselor, while Mr. Paul Ashore, Head of Training, ITF; and Mr. Shehu Aboje, constitute the ITF delegation.
Lol I took my 400L exams in this hall, last year.

I'm a new student and I have done the registration but remains course registration which I have been trying since yesterday but this morning I saw ➖ minus 62,500 on my student portal.pls anyone can explain this to me.
