goldcorn: To claim partner's point, your spouse's occupation must be on the same list as the occupation you choose. If your husband's occupation is not on the list, then you can't claim partner's point. Partner's point is only necessary to boost your points and not a compulsory requirement. You need to read the thread, follow the instructions to understand the process. You can apply for any of the three visas depending on the points you get. If you can get 65 points on your own, 189 is the best option with 190 as a back up. |

Your Job tittle has got little or nothing to do with the outcome of ur assessment, what matters most is what you've actually been doing and how it relates to ANZSCO 263111 task description, Lastly it also depends on how you are able to furnish them with verifiable fact, and also put into consideration the numbers of years that would be deducted from your experience, Am plying same route at the mo, trying to get my transcripts, reference letter and other stuffs, we 2geda on this, i will also advise you read from page 1 to this page as you will get several answers to your questions also... enle: |

Hello house. Kindly help assess my eligibility for Agricultural scientist/consultant. I have Bsc/PGD/Msc of Food Science and Technology from OAU. About 6 years experience as a Technical Advisor/consultant to a World Bank FADAMA I and II project. Actually my dad was selected among the providers then. I did similar tasks as described in the job description of an Agricultural scientist/consultant providing advises to the farmers etc. I am just being skeptical due to my Academic background not closely related to Agric. Has anyone gotten positive assessment without having to study Agricultural related studies? |

enle: I see all opinion says job title doesn't matter but I beg to differ. From my own experience with ACS, Job title is very important and carries alot of weight. A 263111 cannot use *desktop support* title even though it sounds similar. Why? A 263111 is an advanced position Also note there is an anzsco code for *IT support* related title Alternative you can get your company to use included. Systems Enginner, computer systems engineer. Lead systems enginner, Also note that your Job Description which is the important must also align with the title and nominated occupation... 1 Like |

Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 4:38am On Feb 26, 2019 |
AmaSophy: You need to read the thread again. Writing IELTS first or later depends on your assessing body. If it is required for occupation assessment, you have to write it first and if it is not required, you don't need to write it first. |
