Buhari would now be represented by an Accord senator. Atiku lost his polling unit but Buhri an incubent president loses his senatorial zone.

President Muhammadu Buhari has won his polling unit, PU003 at Sarkin Yara ward A, in Daura, Katsina.

The president scored 523 votes while the Presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar got only three votes.

However, the president’s party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate for Katsina North senatorial district, incumbent Kaita Baba-Ahmad, lost the unit to the candidate of Accord party, Lawal Nalado.

Mr Nalado scored 263 while Mr Kaita scored 248 votes.

The candidate of the major opposition party, the PDP, Usman Mani, scored only two votes.

President Buhari had on Saturday morning reaffirmed his confidence in winning the presidential election.

Mr Buhari told reporters shortly after voting at Kofar Baru, Sarkin Yara “A” ward in Daura, his home town, that he would win the election and congratulate himself.

Clad in a light blue `Babbar Riga’, the president was accompanied by his wife, Aisha, and some security details.

Mrs Buhari was the first to vote before the president at 8.06 a.m., while the president voted at 8.10 a.m.

“So far, so good. Nigerians understand and are behaving themselves,’’ Mr Buhari said when asked to give his assessment of the exercise, so far.

When asked if he would congratulate the winner if he lost the election he said, “I will congratulate myself; I am going to be the winner,’’ the president said.

With the figures you quoted above it seems the total number of votes cast in the entire senatorial district isn't up to 2000...

How does that sound to you and the reporter op?

Even the mods are unbelievably hard to figure out...

What will now happen to PDP and others?

Meanwhile, it doesn't mean Buhari has won the entire election and also it is not the end for Atiku. The both of them are still much in the race.

Will they say it's rigged?
That's to say it's a free and fair election, just as APC lost in Sanwo Olu's polling units

Completely misleading news as this is the result for just one polling unit.
This report is proof that all lawyers, tailors and journalists definitely have their portion in hell
