Northerners are so clouded with religion and ethnic-ism, if Yoruba were like them, we would have all voted Buhari because of Osinbajo.
This Country need to see beyond regional politics and religion, but how do we get there when illiteracy is fighting back in the north.
Illiteracy in the north is not "fighting back"...it has never been threatened.

If foreign hospital and goods are good for buhari

Its good for us also

undecided

And you will trust your president's health with Nigerian doctors in Nigerian hospitals that won't think twice before poisoning him once envelopes changes hand?

The man almost died few years ago in Nigeria until he was flown abroad. Before then,he was not known to fly abroad for treatment. Let's be objective.

Apart from that, how many times have you heard him travel abroad apart from official trips?

Good. But can you pls explain to me, how come our own grown rice is more expensive @20k per bag than the foreign we used to buy @7500 in just 3yrs ? Thank you !
In the short run, the average cost of production is higher and that will result to higher prices charge by producer. In the long run however, as the average cost continues to drop, the price also falls.
Also, as more people are entering the market, the market price would eventually fall in the long run. It is that time lag that you people are impatient to wait for probably because of your lack of understanding of the principles of economics.

Nigerian rice is between #13k-#18k.

Not #20k as the OP stated.

Buhari is not known to travel abroad for treatment yet claimed his doctors are based in London? grin His doctors must be based in Osapa London grin

Buhari has always been a Londoner okay? His hospital is based in London. His kids schooled in the UK, and wife, all based in London.

See how you are disgracing yourself. So it doesn't mean anything to you that 0 the incumbent president is loosing right at the seat of power. Forget that he never won when he was not yet in power.

Nigerians (especially those in the north and some southwest states) are simply telling politicians to continue being foolish, that no matter what, they will vote them whether they perform or not, it spells doom for Nigeria's democracy cry
Those people are the real haters of Nigeria. It feels painful to remember that I am sharing the same country with such people.
Even if Buhari will loose this election, I will still be angry at the foolishness of lots of people in this country. How can a failed and unfit president who wasn't even sure if his wife will vote him be receiving too many free votes from stupid citizens?
It simply shows to the outside world that the rate of stupidity in this country is at an alarming rate.

Stop deceiving the educated illiterates here. Nigeria do not have a comparative advantage when it comes to rice production. Local rice can NEVER be as cheap or cheaper than Thai rice.

Yes, local production of goods is a great idea but what countries do is to focus effort on their core comparative advantage, and build on it enough to generate fx. That's the fastest way to build the economy. We will never be able to export our rice.

Suffrage should be limited to at least SSCE. The uneducated should not determine something as crucial and sensitive as leadership for us. In fact it would force the politicians in the North to implement compulsory education for their people.
Government of the educated, for the people, by the educated..... wonder what we'll call this concept?
