Alas the Leicester City board is growing some balls.

Interesting.

Leicester City have sacked Claude Puel as their manager after Saturday’s 4-1 home defeat by Crystal Palace and want to appoint Celtic’s Brendan Rodgers as his successor.

Wilfried Zaha’s Palace double puts Leicester’s Claude Puel in trouble

The club are expected to make an immediate attempt to lure Rodgers but are prepared to wait until the summer for the former Liverpool manager. It is questionable whether Rodgers would be willing to leave Celtic mid-season when he has the chance to win an unprecedented third treble in three seasons there.

Leicester could also consider Newcastle’s Rafael Benítez, whose contract expires in June, but they have made Rodgers their top target after some months of succession planning.

Brendan Rodgers is definitely one of my best coaches in the game. Certainly in my top three. I hope Leicester City lands him and he favors our lads there. It seems we will have interesting times ahead of Leicester City.

If Iheanacho doesn't excel now you have no more excuse

Guy leave CPFC out of it. That team is loaded and Zaha is as good as any star in the EPL. Look at all the big teams he beat. Liverpool had that problem for a couple years under Klopp always struggling with teams they were supposed to beat.

What problem did Liverpool have with kloop ?

They are always on top 4 na

I feel bad for Puel because he is a good coach and is only getting picked on because he is soft spoken. Leicester fans must accept that they got lucky to win the league and are not that good

Puel good coach ke ?

And he cannot carry 6th with the players he got ?

So soft spoken is your excuse ?

You know how much dem don spend for players ?

Leicester did not got lucky to win the league they deserve the league they won as the ones who call them self the big boys where crap that season .

Agreed, Leicester has the best squad outside the top 6,I think they have a better squad than Arsenal

They should not be playing the way they are

Your prayer should be Iheanacho should succeed under Rodgers if the move sails through. Not thegoodjoe's excuse. Nacho plays for the Super Eagles, not thegoodjoe.

Finito.

The teams that beat him has got him sacked

You can't beat Chelsea and Man city and lose to Cardiff and Newport

Concerning Crystal Palace, Leicester has a far better squad than them

Leicester have a better keeper and CB but outside that crystal palace is the better team. They have Zaha which is like a cheat code and Townsend is also a beast. There's no contest in attack, the middle or at FB

They bought players that they are not using.

If all the big teams faltered for the first time in history how can you not call that luck?
