Chelsea Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga defied manager Maurizio Sarri as he refused to come off in the Carabao Cup final.

He got injured deep into extra-time and Sarri called Caballero off the bench to come on for the impending penalty shootout.

MySportDab reports Kepa gestured to the bench that he was okay to continue but Sarri wanted to make the change anyway.

However, he refused to come off in stunning scenes that were aired live and his manager was left seething on the touchline.

Sarri had to be restrained by Antonio Rudiger before walking off in despair but returned to the dugout looking angry before watching his side lose 4-3 to Manchester City in the shootout.

Today's loss was not Sarri's fault.The players also played well but the Kepa incident marred the good showing.I really feel for Sarri.He is feeling the heat already.Meanwhile Kepa should receive suspension for his unacceptable and disgraceful behaviour

This is a reflection of the coup that must be going on in the dressing room. The coach must be weak, confused and indecisive. You are the coach, but the players would read and interpret your body language to know how far they can push it. Instead of running around throwing tantrum he should have put his foot down and delayed play until the substitution must have been made. The substitute goalies is a better Penalty stopper than he is and he refused to leave, just imagine?
