This is USA's way of reminding Nigerian politicians who's really incharge of the country |

The US Ambassador should STFU and stop injecting himself and interfering in our elections, the same way America has been accusing Russia of interference. We don't need your advice in this issue, just as we don't offer ours, in your election We will sort out our differences internally. Don't come and turn our country into another Libya or Iraq or Syria and mist recently, another Venezuela. Thanks but no thanks, Aproko 1 Like |

HeyCorleone: Nigeria is a huge county, cases of violence were reported in only a few places like in Lagos and Rivers. |

dalass: Which diplomatic. You are still sleeping on top bicycle if you think the US will just intervene or make a statement about something if they dont have something to benefit. Something is definitely fishy because i dont understand how they can be faster than their shadow to adjudge the election peaceful when the process is still not complete. Winner has not been declared, counting and coalition is still ongoing in more than 70% of the country l. |

Guestlander: Nigeria Huge country? What do you say about India, China, USA? Continue to console yourself, instead of accepting the truth that Nigeria is not meant to be one country. The richest countries in the world have no crude oil. 1 Like |

There have been a lot of irregularities. Ballot boxes burnt, INEC offices burnt, intimidation of Eo and Adhoc staffs. Why is Apc scared of free and fair elections? 1 Like |

HeyCorleone: Yes it was predominantly peaceful except for a few people in SE and SS killing their brothers in a futile effort to install a corrupt Fulani man with Dollars as president. 5 Likes |

namio10: The truth is that in a country with almost 200 million people and about 2000 polling stations, if only a fews places were affected by violence it wouldn't change the outcome of the election. Worst case scenario the election in those places will be canceled and conducted again. 1 Like |

The approval by this man is premature. But it is designed to meet a pre-determined objective so no surprises there. Anyway what do you expect? This diplomat is from a country that has had more than its fair share of electoral malpractice - from the hanging chads of the 2000 elections to the gerrymandering that is taking place over there even as I write. In some respects, the USA is just like Nigeria. Gratuitous violence is the American way. It is part and parcel of the American soul - that's why the US ambassador is finding it hard to condemn electoral violence in Nigeria in the strongest terms. Rubbish. |

The only peaceful election in Nigeria comes either when Buhari doesn't contest or the one he contest and win or the one he successfully rig. When ever he loses, dogs and baboon always gets soaked in blood. 2011 post election violence comes to mind 1 Like |
