I now understand what they're doing, they prioritize design over performance, they make they phone as pretty and premium looking as they can then load them with low end internals.

The reason is because the average consumer will not do any research and will buy the one that looks best thinking that good looks translate to a good phone

Their design is not special, it is the same with designs of other manufactures, can you tell me this design beats Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, Nokia among others? Even Dogee Y series is far better than this but alot cheaper.

What they do is produce phone, slam price because there is no alternative, same thing Dstv is doing. They know average Nigerians don't have alternative and will not bother to search and so they take advantage of monopolized market.

If you look at the Infinix Hot 6, the design is really nice but the specs are so low range it's crazy, they gave it a big screen and a notch to make it look cutting edge then put internals that are the opposite of cutting edge.

The standard non Kevlar F1 looks cheaper and plainer with it's plain plastic body and the notch is also kind of wide, wider than average.

I'm not saying this because I don't like the F1 o, it's actually my personal favorite phone of 2018 but saying it for the sake of comparison.
