It's interesting Buhari is now getting more likes and shares than Atiku on comments.

Is that how fast it is to deny Atiku and Obi? What a fake love borne by baseless hate.

Their supporters has always been clueless.

The progressives told them, we told them from the beginning that Buhari will never lose to Atiku.
yeah you are 100% correct, Buhari can never loose to Atiku not in the North, I said before that Atiku committed political blunders by picking his running mate from South East, we all know southeast and south/south are PDP's, anybody PDP picks as their presidential candidate they will vote for him, southwest is APC, if he had picked his running mate from southwest there's possibility that southwest votes would be divided or even majority votes for him.
Sentiment plays majority role in election, many people don't care about the profile of the candidates they vote for once the candidate is from their region/state they will vote for him.
Political sentiment is what is killing Nigeria today u can't expect southwest to leave Osinbajo and vote for Obi.

Sir, if you loose you humanity due to election that is not decided by a single person, then you aren't one at all.

In Buhari's home town, more than 300k voted for Atiku, are they all Southerners?

Please help the ones you've been bestowed the chance to help, no matter the tribe or religion

If you believe in God Almighty, then you'll know that whatever you give to the needy, you giveit to God, and it's HIM that 'll reward you.

Thann you.

Don’t hate any tribe my guy but it made no sense cos we were all complaining bitterly, especially the northerners bout hardships, security, unjust killings, price of everything almost tripled but now wen we thought we could change the govt all the northerners stuck to Buhari again! I was shocked! Why? Yet they’ll send children to beg me for junctions or outside malls, hold my trousers saying “brother abeg” their women will beg too with babies... seriously? Wtf! My humanity is intact bro, I just hate it cos they showed the rest of Nigeria that they rather die than let someone with good vision for all rule ( although I don’t think Atiku is the way but he’s FAR BETTER to Buhari)

Some of the people crying that this election has been rigged are sick. Do you guys expect Atiku to defeat Buhari? That's not possible and would never be possible in this Nigeria.

OBJ desecrated Atiku for many years. Atiku was his VP, he knows him in and out. He had already demarketed Atiku, then the USA corruption allegations on his neck. It was President George Bush that ban Atiku from coming to the USA in 2007. President Obama for 8 years didn't lift the travel ban, meaning Atiku was finished.

Who are Atiku's supporters from the beginning? After OBJ denied him the ticket in 2007 by handing it over to Late Umaru Musa Yar'adua, Atiku decamped to AC(Action Congress) under Tinubu, where he contested the election and lost. Few years after, he decamped back to PDP claiming AC was not a good party. He then contested primary against Jonathan in PDP, 2010. OBJ was instrumental again, Atku lost to Jonathan. Few years after, he left PDP again to return to ACN which had merged with other parties to become APC. In 2014 he lost the ticket to Buhari. Few years later, same Atiku decamped back to the PDP for the third time. Either by hook or crook, he got the ticket and now he's about to lose and people are crying foul. Foul from where?

Can you tell me if there's any unstable and desperate politician in the history of Nigeria that can be compared with Atiku? Hell No. By moving from one party to another, he has no single supporter. Forget Saraki, Ben Bruce, Kwankwaso, etc they're only supporting Atiku because they're not happy with Buhari. If not so, why didn't they support him in 2011 or 2014 to pick the ticket in PDP and APC respectively? Cos he has no political stamina. He's never loyal to anyone apart from himself. He's so greedy and selfish, a looter and an exploiter. Nigeria doesn't deserve someone like that and God will never allow him get there.

Buhari was never an option, in fact Buhari is a bigot, nepotistic and a fundamentalist, coupled with old age syndrome affecting him. However, it would be a disaster to handover Nigeria to Atiku. It's better you live Nigeria with a Buhari than with an Atiku Abdul the likes of Saraki. He also committed political suicide by Picking Peter Obi. That's lack of ideology and vision.

PDP lost in the North and SW in 2015 and won in SS and SE, meaning the SS and SE are for PDP. He should have picked a running mate from the region PDP isn't doing well. He went and sentimentality made him pick Obi, who was not him liked by Igbo governors. Now Buhari did well in SS and SE more than ever before. Blame Atiku's lack of vision and lack of a strategist like Tinubu. It's Tinubu that hand picked Osinbajo in 2014 and it paid cos he wanted the Christian block votes, which Buhari got in the SW. When you need a block vote, appeal more to the region. See how Buhari aligned with Akpabio, Okocha, Oshiomhole, Orji Uzo Kanu, Sylva, Emmanuel oduaghan etc all to get votes, which has paid him. See weak Atiku picking Obi from a region PDP would always win any day any time.

It's over for Atiku cos first OBJ finished him, he finished himself and the heavens Approved it.

Please give this guy a medal.

Bro majority of the northerners prefers a thousand buhari to atiku and not everrbody feels atiku will do any better as far am am concerned he's an unrepentant kleptocrat.
Pdp would have won this time around but atiku's candidacy didn't sell to the majority of the northerners and a fair percentage of the westerners.
And there's no point blaiming or castigating people for their political choice or affiliations.
That's the beauty of democracy.

The same old brigade.

If Atiku decamps back to APC, he will be welcomed back with open arms. I can never stick my neck out for anyone from the old brigade. Also like I said before, I will no longer tolerate any almajiri beggars coming to my window to ask for money. I will take a horsewhip and chase them to Aso Rock to go there and enjoy what they have voted for.

Atiku's economic policies would have revived the economy and produced growth of about 7% annually. It may even be faster than that. The Economist magazine said it will b e a lost decade if Buhari gets a second term. 2 foreign banks left the country upon hearing that Buhari was re-contesting. The stockmarket fell 300b upon hearing the same news

If someone's first term was a disaster when he was at risk of losing re election, you really think he will do better in the second term?

Wait till apc dominate both houses and their sharia guy is the CJN

Then you will know the further damage that will happen to this country

My prayer id that *IF* Buhari does a worse job, may those who voted him due to sentiments further suffer it and when applicable, die from the fruit of their actions.

But if Buhari shocks us (highly unlikely) then we shall see

PDP played the tribal card. The so-called victim of marginalization wanted to be compensated and hence they dug a ditch for themselves. By default, PDP will win the East, hence, picking someone from a territory you already own is a political miscalculation.

But you know, Uche Secondus always have a second position mentality, himself and his caucus thinks picking a candidate from the West wouldn't matter once they clinch the North and whatever percentage comes from the West is accepted.

Secondus is a failure, Peter Obi was a wrong choice. There's no sentiments in choosing political representation, especially something of this magnitude. Atiku thought he could balance things, so he was pushing his wife Titi to lead a solo campaign for him, probably to get some emotional votes from the West.

I think it's interesting how the whole show is playing out. PDP is learning from the best and come 2023 APC will possibly float a man from the West as President and a man from the North or SS as Vice-president.

The East will keep shouting marginalization as long as they're not contributing to the progressives. Whenever they wake up, they would accept and support Rocha Okorocha as their closest chance in APC.

You must be an Ibo from your comment above. Peter Obi was a Special Adviser to GEJ on Economy when Nigeria made the highest revenue in the history of Africa as a result of oil boom money. Nigeria got the revenue that no nation made in Africa when crude was sold between $118 and $140 per barrel. They looted everything saving no kobo and still borrowing heavily to cover - up. During this period, they empowered their kinsmen and occupied nearly all the strategic parastatals & MDAs.

During this period, the Hausas you claimed are beggars holding your trousers on the streets to beg are doing the same while your brothers looted over $150 billion and almost $25 billion from the reserve obj left which makes them the richest tribe in Africa. They are buying Lagos, Abuja and part of Nassarawa and plateau. These people did not start begging because of PMB. During the oil boom era of GEJ they were also on the streets begging while your brothers are looting and partying.

Only God saved Atiku and the North. Obi is coming to formulate an economic policy that will re-open the looting pipes and destroyed the economy. Ghana said Biafra Business Model is not clean, that is why they are closing Nigerian shops before our govt intervened.

Another reason why Nigeria is doomed- tribalism both by pdp and apc

This was one of the worst elections conducted,

Massive rigging up and down.

The ppl rigging are doing it to keep stealing.

Why is it that when anyone mentions a tribe they are automatically tagged trabalistic. Do I need to wait for you to mention tribe in your post before saying the truth ? It's people like you that are the issue the country has. You people try so hard to suffocate the truth. Read my post again objectively and grasp the essence of what I said.

The northerners generally have mistrust for Igbos. The Yorubas are waiting for 2023 to take over. And Atiku disregarded both facts and went ahead to pick Peter Obi. Coupled with Igbo sentiments and aspirations, the north used that against their own Atiku. Atiku should have chosen a Yoruba as running mate to match Buhari and Osinbanjo. He would have done better in both the north and southwest. And if Igbos were truly tired of the economic hardship under Buhari, they would have voted for Atiku all the same. Atiku made a mistake in not choosing a running mate from the southwest.

And with the likes of Femi Falana becoming the Minister of Defence
•Ayotunde Fayose becoming the Minister of Finance
•Saraki losing Senatorial seat and becoming the Attorney General
•Muray Bruce Becoming Minister of Information
