So painful the only female senator from the North Binta, will not be returning back tongue
What position would he likely be given. Maybe Fashola's portfolio?

Nigerians love discussing politicians without regard to what they are actually doing for you. Are they discussing you the same way you are discussing them?? When last did they report on progress on projects in your area to you? Yet ppl commit threads to politicians and spend all their time discussing politicians. Is the general hospital in your area truly functional?

ELVISHOT:
The results of the 2019 gubernatorial election is gradually coming to an end, with a lot of surprising result.

While some are winning getting ready to join the red chamber, some other senators will be busy preparing to leave the red chamber come may 29th,2019.

Below are top five senators who are getting ready to leave the upper chamber.

1. Bukola Saraki

Senate president Bukola Saraki is the senator representing Kwara Central Constituency.Senator Saraki became one of the major casualties of the 2019 General election after loosing to APC candidate Dr Ibrahim Oloriegbe.Senator Saraki defected from the All Progressive Congress(APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)to run for president but picked up a senatorial ticket after loosing to Atiku Abubakar in the primary election.

2.Godswill Akpabio

Senator Godswill Akpabio was a former governor of Akwa Ibom State and the senator representing Akwa Ibom West. The soon to be former Senator, Akpabio lost to the PDP senatorial candidate and former Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Christopher Ekpenyong. Senator Akpabio was a minority leader but however resigned as the minority leader and defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC) where he picked a nomination form to run for senate.

3. Shehu Sani

Senator Shehu Sani was one of the most active senators of the 8th National Assembly. He was the senator representing Kaduna Central. Senator Shehu Sani lost to the APC candidate Uba Sani, a former aide to governor Nasir El-Rufai. Senator Shehu Sani was a senator under the All Progressive Congress (APC) but defected to Peoples Redemption Party( PRP) after he lost in the APC primaries.

4. Binta Masi Garba

Binta Masi Garba, she is the only female senator from the North. She was representing Adamawa North before she lost to Ishaku Cliff of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Binta Masi ran under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC)

5. Andy Ubah

Senator Andy Uba was a senator of the All Progressive Congress (APC) representing Anambra South Senatorial district. Andy Uba lost to Ifeanyi Ubah of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) making him the first senator ever to be elected under YPP.

Akpabio was taught the hard lessons in politics:

1) With his Betrayal of trust, even Buhari himself will never trust him.

2) You don't do politics without any political conviction in you, without any political ideology.

Number 2 is where northern Nigeria politicians have grade A.

Saraki lost everything in one day.
At least Akpabio delivered for Baba and he will be involved in Federal power. Saraki won't even smell local government power. He is finished politically. He underrated Kwarans and was business pulling Federal power, thinking that was the only area he had to work on and if it didn't go as planned, he had kwara to fall back to but gbam everything ended in a day.

Bro politics is not a career, I wonder why most of us make it a big deal that one must remain in power...

Is only in this country we make it look like politics is a career and that why this idiots dont make any impact, they stuck them selves there

He has businesses, this guy went to London school of medicine, he should go back to the teather

And get him self busy, anorld swasniger former governor of California, went back to holly wood and continue his business, he didn't hang him self on power.

Dancing senator and Davido's uncle, loses his seat in the senate

Dancing senator and uncle of popular singer Davido, Ademola Adeleke, has lost his seat in the senate. In a keenly contested election last Saturday, APC's Engr Lere Oriolowo, won the Osun West Senatorial District election.

Adeleke was not on the ballot box because he contested in the last governorship election in the state.

According to INEC, Engr Oriolowo polled a total of 102,147 votes to defeat the PDP candidate, Lere Oyewumi who scored 97,294 votes. Prince Dotun Babayemi of the African Democratic Party (ADP), came third with 42,915.

If obasanjo were to compete with Buhari, he would have been resoundingly defeated. The love the northerners have for Buhari is just too much. He is a mini god.

Prior to 2015 election, he has always had a minimum of 12million votes in the kitty.

The truth is Atiku dined with the elites and pallied with the prophets and pastors with a bid to get the south in his favour. Apparently he didn't extend same to the local imams, the Almajiri caretakers, the mai ruwaz and the talakas. Those people knew that he was not to be trusted. A major nickname with which the present president is known by his "mai gaskiya"... They believe he is holy and can be trusted. They don't get to see him with flashy cars but flashy cows and flashy donkeys.he lived a low key life.

Buhari has simply built a name for himself with which his followers have long identified with.

Obasanjo while trying to prevent collateral damage on Atiku suddenly remembered he is now fully repentant and can now be trusted when in essence he revealed some damaging remarks about his(Atiku's) personality in his own best selling book " my watch"...

Atiku's comment on how he would sell off NNPC didn't go down well too. This was somehow in consonance with the "corruption tag" people had laced him with. I felt he would have won and reveal those even if he had good motives

My lessons:

Build your name and let others help you to build it to stardom without skirmishes. Try as much as possible to manage your wealth rather than flaunt it.

Buhari despite his health, his party knew he is just the right person to make them hang onto power.

Buhari may not be the best leader Nigeria has had, but the love is overwhelming.

Even if " secondus" were to compete with him, he wouldn't have become a "firstus"...

Even though Binta isn't returning, another northern female from the same Adamawa, though from a different senatorial zone, has emerged on the platform of APC.
Binta isn't coming simple. PDP won the northern and southern senatorial zone respectively.

I lost my respect for Akpabio the moment he decamped to APC. I just knew he was heading for doom when he made that sudden move. That aside, he made himself lord over all by trying to force his wicked party down the throats of Ndito Akwa Ibom.

But I'm grateful for the fact that Udom Emmanuel is coasting home victoriously as the cat has been put in the bag. I see no hope in sight for his opponents who were all banking on the support and influence of the "almighty Akpabio."

U have spoken well. Don't mind some peoples analysing Akwa Ibom politics in naivety ...

That might be too small a portfolio for someone that transformed Akwa Ibom. But its better than nothing.
