My brother's Lexus ES350 suddenly threw up a check engine code 2 days after being washed at a local carwash. He started panicking and called me on the phone & drove to my end - after which I used my portable scanner on it. The error code indicated that sensor 1-bank 1 and sensor 1 - bank 2 failed. I started wondering because 9months earlier, i ordered a Manufacturer specific Denso oxygen sensor to replace a failed unit on bank 1-sensor 1. I immediately suspected a fuse issue because it's highly unlikely for 2 oxygen sensors to fail at once, his mechanic convinced him to ignore my suggestion and told him to outrightly buy & replace both sensors. Long story short - after wasting money to replace both sensors. The problem still persisted and it finally turned out to be a blown fuse which costs N200 to replace. I am just annoyed here - it's just like money was thrown down the drain. I wanted to bring this case to the house so that others can equally learn as well. Sometimes, ur instincts shouldn't be ignored.

30k but if you can negotiate for 25k, that would be better. One may need to work longer hours for now. We hope things will pick up before the end of March (after state level elections).

So today I picked up a rider from yaba to ikoyi... Card trip.. Now I was supposed to turn at Tafewa balewa/broad street to link up awolowo... I really dunno what I was thinking and passed the turning... The rider asked why I didn't turn.. I apologized and blamed it on the Uber map.. She was like this route is just too long and was calm about it... I made the turn at the next tafewa belewa exit and as we made it up the bridge into ikoyi I ended the trip, twas 800.. She asked why I ended the trip and I told her I didn't want it to be like I took a longer route so as to fleece her off more cash.. She said wow okay.. Next thing she asks for my account number and I gave her... Just as I was about dropping her off she credited me with 3k... I thanked her and zoomed off with a smile so wide I could have swallowed a banana sideways.. Some people just have beautiful souls

You are the one with a beautiful and compassionate soul...some drivers won't care about the rider but you showed class...yes sometimes it might not work out and you lose but trust me bro you building character that will bring you favour when you do meet the right people.

Sometime last year during raining season I carried a rider, iz was a long distance trip and close to her destination there was massive flood around that ajah axis...Mehn d place be like river Niger shocked..told her I couldn't go any further..she was very upset and rightfully so...I just told her not to worry about the fare as I didn't fulfil my part of the contract by dropping her off at her location...immediately her anger turned to surprise/shock...she insisted on paying and I said no...she wanted to cry as she couldn't comprehend...she left me a 5 star and a review..

Sometimes we drivers make riders look down on us...I c d way some drivers dress when I request and yes I know the guy prolly slept in the car overnight but notwithstanding...me when I was driving my packaging na die cheesy.Infact so many riders esp d younger ones/university students and even oloshos will enter my car and great me straight because on my dressing and carriage...I won't make or receive a call during trips and if I have to I inform the rider..I never just decide to change the radio station without recourse to the rider...riders are nice if we treat them as kings tho some are irredeemable grin

Keep it up bro..

Yay the daddy of cars is here, thanks sir. I appreciate. But you seem to not talk about flushing the engine, Is it a good idea? And what if 0w40 is used and it did burn what's the next moves sir?

flushing is a delicate procedure, it has its immediate gains which is to clear the engine of larger particles/portions of loose sludge from the engine. The downsides of using engine flush is seal expansion which could cause oil leaks around crankshaft area, it can also cause engine to smoke (Rear occasions when engine has been abused) it is also possible that after the oil change, loose sludge particles continue to dislodge rapidly which could cause the engine oil filter and oil pump strainer to become overwhelmed and cause low oil pressure which could be very fatal for the engine.

I always recommend a slow cleansing of a sludge filled engine with shorter oil filter changes.

Useless boy. You see how you are a wasted product of illicit sex? You spend your worthless time on Nairaland castigating me even when I don't give you attention! It now turns out your are a needy and hopeless nincompoop! You lack love and you are so hopeless that you have to use scope to beg for love online? Are you that Ugly? Are you that self esteem dimnished that there are no ladies in your area to ask out that you have to hide behind a faceless forum to seek love? Why are you so rettarded?

I am certain beyond doubt that you masturbate a lot. You masturbate so much that your dicck have curved facing the moon instead of gravitationally facing the floor! I pity you.

For the fact your mother dropped you in a carton at the gate of a motherless babies home at birth does not mean you shouldn't have self esteem due to lack of parental care and love.

If not for the fact that am certain that you ran away from a loveless orphanage home, I would hace sworn your father won you on Nairabet.

If you lack love, mail me. I have more than 200 ladies in my harem. I don't even need them coz they need me.

Ifyeez you see what am talking about?

This animal and rabbit spends his whole disorganized life attacking me on Nairaland but he doesnt have ordinary girlfriend! So lonely and depressed. Franksam2009, please do quick and take the alternative route to hell by considering the below. Stop thinking about it... Go ahead and hang! Ewu... Bitch... Akpa Amu.
