If you're going for an English taught Bachelors, it's very okay if you have IELTS. You don't need SAT. I've not seen any school that asks for SAT. Plus, if you already have a Bachelor degree from Nigeria, they can ask you to get a letter of proficiency, or some can even waive off English proficiency tests for you since you are Nigerian (native speaker). This doesn't apply to all schools though.

thanks so much for the information,
can you advice any school in particular for economics or accounting.

Your judgement is based on your own convictions. There are people doing distant relationships and bringing them over to settle down and it worked out for them!! Everybody ain't the same

Exactly, my decision is based on my experience.

But no matter how you want to paint it, I will always see it as a stupid thing to do, infact I will conclude d guy has been jazzed.
My friend there is a big difference between GF and wife o, if na My wife na another thing.
The only exception here will be if she was the one that sponsored my movement or she was sacrificially involved. My problem here is that you don't understand the thin line between GF and wife. Please remove sentiment, what's GF? Hmmmm, but if u have the resources and have fulfilled your obligations to your family, that's no prob but just don't do it with any expectation attached.
Me na foreigner I for even like marry, una d argue about bringing over Naija babe to Germany, na so My village people strong? Naija babes don finish for Germo, Canada, USA, Australia? Na Nigeria i go come hold strong, mehn i no fancy this thought. Please don't tell me is love, there's nothing love in GF and BF I d see here in Nigeria, guys ma una no nonsense o, God forbid!

But you are really making a lot of sense. I have seen similar cases where the innocent girl from Nigeria pretended to be Sis Mary and Juliet just to get over there and, eventually she made her way.
Girlfriend is girlfriend while wife is wife but depending on how committed you were with her and how faithful she was to you before travelling can still make you to get her along.

Meanwhile be aware that once you travel, no girl in Nigeria will easily tell you no. Those forming for you those days will even be the ones using your photo as their dps for months, and you become their MCM automatically... Lol.

We all know what we want and, we all know where we are coming from and, our different backgrounds and, also the challenges ahead of us. If your capacity can carry you, Oga carry go.

But in my own opinion, I will say that if your parents, siblings, family members are all in Nigeria experiencing the NEXT LEVEL BREEZE, please focus on them first and leave the yellow sisi alone until you are over well off.

Stay blessed all.

Lol. Wow that is serious. Thanks so much for this insightful advice.

Although I've been dating my babe for years and she's actually working,.doing her own msc here. And doesn't really care about traveling out. So I'll see how to handle it. Thanks so much

Chriswazo:

Just recently, I was discussing with my uncle that lives in the States, he gave me a beautiful advise about this your concern and I am going to share it with you. He talked about one of our brothers that was doing very well there and wants to settle down by bringing over a lady from here. The guy got entangled with one online and made plans for her, paid for her flight and processed all documents for her visit. He gave her direction on what to do if their flight touch down, surprisingly, til today he has not seen the babe. She arrived and found her way not minding the dude again.
The thing is that he was warned against doing that, but I guess he was drowned in love. My uncle said, the best way is to find your person there that has the respect and virtues u are looking for, because d girl that will want to marry you if you come back might not really love you but just looking for a way to escape the next level suffering in Naija. Bro, believe it, suffering and hunger de this land and even them ladies are looking for a way to escape.
This was made clear to me when my babe of how many years left me after I was unable to travel out last year, the worst was that she became despaired that my family were about reneging on the mission, she knew this because she works for us. Mehn, I thought I had true love but alas, everyone is after the gain and glamor, nobody wants to persevere or suffer for a better cause.

Disregard my post if yours is very different and you are led by God to do that.
PS: I wanted to say, "disregard if you are very sure of her", but that's a fallacious statement, you can't understand yourself talk more of a lady (girlfriend for that matter, lol).

Mehn I had exactly the same plan like you but thank God am free jaare

Why not use UPS. They deliver in 4 days to any part of the world and very reliable. I'm sure EMS is like 14k and delivers in 7-10 days. UPS is 16k (student discount)

Please I won't advise you to try Nipost this season o, sent from here in Aba to Uni-assist since January, up til now, it have not reach. Is putting me on frenzy seriously.
If by next week, no show, I would be considering DHL and other options
