Morning y'all. When can one expect debit alerts for successful bids?
Another question that bugs me:_supposing I write a letttr seeking to invest in TBills and for some reason the bid was unsuccessful.. Would I have to write another letter for the next auction or the bank would take my original letter as standing instruction to invest in subsequent auctions without a recourse to me?

FBN would use the instructions for the failed bid in a fortnight . So just chill.

First bank secondary rate as at today . 14.1 for 245 days. 13.8 for 303 days. Anybody with other banks rates should post details. I'm looking for 364 days @14.1 at least, to lock in, cos it seems to me rate is dropping and the next coming auctions might not be that favorable , i never knew first bank latest submission day is Monday (unlike stanbic i cld still submit even late Tuesday ) was there on Tuesday but was told i was late, gosh spoiling my plans big time. Waiting till March auctions will cost me some cash, time is damn important when it comes to TB, so let's make hay while the sunshines

That's why I like stanbic bank. You can still submit your form late Tuesday.

51 Billion Naira on offer, 610 Billion Naira subscription. Guys going for the lockdown in droves. Why rate no go crash. Simple law of Demand and Supply in play here. bulk of this money will be hanging around the corner in 2 weeks time and rates will drop further.

I have said it months before the election that anyone that got 15% to lock it down instead of waiting for the days of 18 and 19%.

1. In Late December, i locked down Sukuk Bond of 15.6% for 7 years
2. Mid February Treasury Bils 14.95% 364 day locked down at stanbic
3. Mid February Treasury Bills Secondary market another bank 14.4% 358 days locked down.

If i had waited for the kill, i would have regretted.

I dont regret my speculations

You mean 182 days cos there are no 186 in primary market, Stanbic's 364 days bid was unsuccessful.

Does anyone know FBN or GTB's secondary rate for today? I got this rates from Stanbic and not too juicy. undecided

Stanbic Secondary rates today.
63days 9.05
357days 13.55
245days 13.0
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by TotoNaRubber: 3:02pm On Feb 28, 2019
Can you imagine the rate, Stanbic intentionally is becoming greedy, similar tenure is offered by First Bank at 14.1% while Stanbic is offering at 13.55%.

It's time to port to First Bank.

Please just share for the benefit of knowledge, I learnt access bank is also about to issue a green bond if not already on.

it should be available in the secondary market except that market is not activated yet.
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by feelamong(m): 4:29pm On Feb 28, 2019
The amount of liquidity in the market is something else.

These politicians really brought out some big cash sha..

CBN OMO Auction was crazy today. over N1.2Tr chasing the N927B CBN had to offer.

One year closed at 14.3%

expect lower discount rates in the coming days....unless CBN starts sensing that FPIs that bring in dollars are no longer doing well again..
