as a non Yoruba I think u guys have to stop Igbos from doing that. You can't try that in an igboland
Why are you so scared of the Igbos? There's no law that forbids someone from contesting an election anywhere. If you yourself were to contest an elective position in my state, I wouldn't think twice before voting you as long as I know you'll perform. That's how sensible people act. You're being tribalistic, how has it helped your life? Bro I wish you would realize that we're not helping ourselves with this, we're only dragging ourselves back.
Let's stop the hate please, for our own sake.

We did it as a Nigerian nation. The north was not a seperate country it is part of the Nigeria that forced you people back. Yoruba troops and other tribes in the Armed Forces participated in the war to bring you back by force. Don't push us to the wall again. Learn from history
Don't fan the embers of war. If, God forbid, one were to start, it won't be like the previous civil war. We'll suffer the consequences for years to come, but I more especially pity the north because they'll also have Boko Haram to contend with

sad Every igbo in Lagos must be compelled to vote APC. When you are in Rome, act like Romans. The APC government has been kind and welcoming to igbos in lagos. Voting against them means they're tired of living in Yoruba land. Nonsense sad
Your comment is senseless. As inhabitants of Lagos they should vote for whoever they wish whether APC or PDP. After all they will also be affected by the good or bad policies that whoever they voted for implements. Asking igbos to vote for APC is same as forcing every yoruba to vote for APC. It doesn't make sense. Igbos have been in Lagos long before APC became a party, so APC is never responsible for the existence of Igbos in Lagos and Igbos owe them nothing.

The political psychology of the Igbos is this;
Recall your secondary school Government classes, Igbos are purely Republican, Democratic and Egalitarian in nature. In a republican and egalitarian and democratic system that assumes acephalous form, the likes of Lord of the Manor like Tinubu, Late Adedubu, Late Oloye Saraki etc don't exist and will never be allowed to exist.A populist like Muhammdu Buhari whose political capital lies with show of piety among the poorest of the society does not also thrive in Igbo land. He naturally hates poverty and does not want anyone to capitalize on it for political gains just as Buhari has successfully done with the poorest of the poor on earth found in the North.

Theirs is a society where everyone is birthed and nurtured with the idea that he is equal to anyone alive and strives hard to prove it in everything. So the idea that political class of an entire region go to Bourdillion to take orders or receive political baptism and anointing runs contrary to the Igbos political psychology and ideology and that is why they can never vote APC, not in Lagos or anywhere. It is not hatred, it is just differences in psychological make up and I think that Yorubas should understand this well and stop being bitter with the Igbo man's choice even if it is to Igbo man's detriment. That is why u don't see them apologies or regret not voting Buhari from 2003 to today.
Once the Yorubas understand this, then all these squabbles and attacks will end.

I have said it timelessly that Nigeria should be splited so that every region will go and face their problems but North would not want that to happen and I wonder what their interest is. I don't dispute the fact that Buhari and Atiku are brothers but since Peter Obi was involved on the side of Atiku, most northerners would never allow Atiku realize his dream owing to the fact that their hatred for southeasterners is unprecedented. Yes Buhari has zero tolerance for corruption despite the fact that great number of his cabinet members are corrupt like Saint Amechi and co but what about poverty in the land? What about insecurity mostly in that same North? Let the truth be told

Ok. thanks for that, I didn't know there was a law like that. For the discrimination, all tribes do it. It's really bad but it's the truth. Yorubas will want to employ only their brothers, same with all the other groups. it's very bad. What I found it is that individually, the ethnic groups don't hate the individuals in the other groups, they just hate the other's ethnic group. Check well, you'll see it's the fact. Our leaders also capitalise on this to cause divisions for their own advantage and we're to myopic to know that.

Is like they enjoy the humiliations and curses in Lagos. Then was the Oba, now Tinubu and his thugs.

Eku ile eyin eyinmi

I greet you all.

I will like to mention that the issue of Lagos is a serious case that every single Yoruba should pay attention to. How can a group of people migrate to your ancestral land and call you ancestral land a "no man's land" and you smile with them. Please let me ask you a question, If you do not have a heritage where do you come from ? I mean right before your nose, strangers are claiming your homes and calling it a no man's land. I mean how do you introduce yourself to your children.

Kids ::::: Daddy where are we from ?

Father ::::: Kids your ancestral home and that of your fore fathers is no man's land Lagos

Kids :::::::: Why are we from No man's land but Emeka claims he from Enugu.

Father :::::: Well Emeka is from Enugu because he's father and those people him have homes and villages they can be traced but you are a lagosian, no village nothing; you are a vagabond with no history because Lagos is a no man's land

Kids:::::::Ok at least if I go to Enugu I can be elected there or even be a king there.

Father ::::::: Well if you try it is possible

Kids go to Enugu and try to be elected after suffering and investing

Enugu People ::::::: Ndi Yoruba you can never be king or elected here. Your father Awolowo betrayed us

Kids come back home

Now if you are a yoruba man and a Lagosian Awori/Ijebu/Egba and Egun and you smile without cutting the head of the person that says your land is a no man's land, then you are an illiterate.

Forget your education. If the White Americans know their land and Australians still trace their root but yours is "No man's land" then sorry to say but you are a fool.

If you cannot protect your heritage and think being educated means being a fool then I am sorry we are not all fools.

A good example is the House of representative woman in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Rita Odichi Orji was born into the family of Late Mr. Festus Akuenyerenwata Chimara and Mrs. Celestina Chimara. She had her early education in Orlu, Imo State, before moving over to Lagos where she made her home until her election to the hallowed chambers.

Rita Orji campaigns in Igbo language and does empowerment in Imo state thereby taking money meant for Lagos empowerment to Imo state.

This is to tell eyin omo oduduwa to wake up and smell the coffee. This is not tribalism; this is us protecting our heritage.

No ethnic group will allow what we allow in Lagos state. Urhobo, Hausas etc don't gloat on us but Igbos do and we should not allow it !!!

Enough is enough

Igbos in Lagos should find a way to arm youselves..

Replicate what you did in Sabon-Gari in Kano State in Lagos and treat the madness of urchins disturning your lives and live-lihood in Lagos..

The Yorubas cannot continue harrassing you in your country while working against every attempt for this country to dis-integrate.....forcing you to vote for whom you do not want to..Yet they are in other parts of the country unmolested

..Their leaders and idols MC Oluomo,Tinubu and other Lagos thugs are harassing you with weapons because they know you do not have any..

Until we seperate,Igbos have the right to live and vote for whom-so-ever they wish..

Once more..ARM YOURSELVES TO DEFEND YOURSELVES!!!!
