[BREAKING]

Federal High Court in Abuja has sentenced Retired Air Vice Marshal, Tony Omenyi, to 7 years imprisonment!

Omenyi was sentenced for money laundering charges to the sum of N136 million which he was said to have received from a contractor with the Nigerian Air Force.

Delivering judgment in the matter, Justice Nnamdi Dimgba sentenced Omenyi on the three counts preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He sentenced the convict to seven years imprisonment on each of the three counts but ruled that the sentences should run concurrently.

The judge ordered that a company – Huzee Nigeria Limited – through which the convict was said to have received the bribe for the contract should be wound up by the Federal Government.

He also ordered that the sum of N62 million recovered from Omenyi by the EFCC be forfeited to the Federal Government.

Also enjoy the complete shutdown of Pakistani airspace since yesterday morning and continuing till now. Pic posted is of today.

Total blackout in Karachi expecting brahmos strikes from IN ships parked next to their coastline.

Videos available on net showing public announcements asking people to observe strict blackout as a precaution against anticipated strikes.

Who knows what might happen............
Or nothing might happen.........

Either way economic losses for Pakistan is mounting.

Wars are not fought on twitter facebook etc, the gains from the same are illusory and not sustainable in the long run , only fools fall for it, same as some here.

Wars are fought on ground both military, diplomatic and economic , which can bring a belligerent to it's knees.

I don't understand, why send the Mig 21 instead of the Su30,mig 29 or rafale to intercept the F-16.

Gentlemen,

Today's Indian Tri-Service briefing highlights the utter failure of Indian Air Defences, and the sheer incompetency of the Indian Air Force. I write this brief based on what the Indian side is saying:

Time on Target, 1000 Hours:
- Twenty Four Pakistan Aircraft, F16s, Mirages, and JF17s enter Rajauri Sector in Indian Administered Occupied Jammu and Kashmir Area, with the intention to attack military targets.

- Indian Air Force responds by 08 aircraft, Mig-21 Bisons, Sun 30Mki, and upgrades Mirage 2000s.

- Indian Air Force Prevents PAF from engaging the ground targets, and all TWENTY FOUR Pakistani Aircraft Runaway.

- Indian Air Force gives chase, and shoots down ONE F-16. It falls in Pakistani Territory.

- In the ensuing air battle, ONE Mig-21 Bison is shot down and its pilot due to wind lands in Pakistan.

- One mangled piece/rocket motor of AIM-120 Charlie 5 Air to Air Missile is Shown to Public as Evidence.

- No Evidence is Shown on Balakot Attack, and all the other claims.

Points to be Considered
- Pakistan's Air Force undertakes the attack in Broad daylight, and with a forewarning.
- Pakistan successfully demonstrates Air and Land SOW and BVR capability without any interception.
- Pakistan successfully demonstrates its superior planning and execution skills.
- Pakistan further demonstrates its dominance on the air battle, network centricity, and on the complete EW spectrum.
- Pakistan sends 24 aircraft, and as per Indian Claims, and IAF claims to be able to shoot down only one, that too not over Indian Soil
- India fails to intercept, and allows to escape 23 enemy aircraft in a single air raid.
- Indian Aircraft are all top of the line, all BVR capable, all networked, all with CFDs, and all with latest MWS, Su30 with IRST, and all with AEW support.
- Pakistan claims to have shot down two aircraft. One wreckage on Pakistani side, another wreckage on Indian side.
- Successful rescue, arrest and medical treatment of Indian Pilot from Kashmiri mob, who, after years of Indian atrocities, make an attempt to take it out on the pilot.
- No talk from Indian side on the pilots of aircraft wreckage on Indian side, they claim to be technical on Indian side.
- Alleged successful usage of JF17, F16 etc against the most modern aircraft of IAF
- Missing wreckage of alleged F16, with no public posting, despite social media being rampant on Pakistani side of J&K where allegedly the F16 fell.

Conclusion
Indian Air Force has proved to be an embarrassment to their country, and to fighter pilots everywhere. They need to really reconsider what they are doing, and not fly any further till they rethink their involvement in becoming an election tool for the BJP party.

Well, Flintlock is An early type of firearm, using a spring-loaded flint to strike sparks into the firing pan.
grin just messing with you...

Its a SOF exercise bringing West/Central African units (Heard it has been expanded to welcome North Africans too) together to Learn best practices and share ideas.

Am quite happy its becoming more of a SOF exercise, not like the past where they teach only marksmanship and parachuting

He has died in hospital due to the sustained injuries during ejection and the subsequent beatings by own country man ( kind of tragic comedy ).

Funny thing is that they’re used one of the F16s recently transferred from Jordan, I don’t think they are allowed to attack India with the F16s directly sold to them by the US

Plus 2 AIM 120C AMRAAMs were fired at the 1st MiG-21 bison who was the lead and second one at the 2nd MiG-21 bison ( wingman ).

The 2nd AMRAAM most probably got spoofed by the EW on the 2nd bison and the aircraft evaded it.

The missile however ended up in indian territory
Which also counters Pakistani claims that no F16 was used. Only F16s in Pakistani inventory can fire AMRAAM missiles.

The reason why Pakistanis were claiming that JF17 was used not F16 is to avoid US irate over the same .

Different types of aircrafts were flying CAPs along the borders.

However the enemy was also observing the patrols and the patterns , so when they saw a gap of few minutes they moved in.

The first responder to reach the sector was the 2 MiG-21 Bisons which had scrambled from Srinagar base closest to the intrusion sector. Then another 2 MiG-21 Bisons and 2 mirage 2000 from other bases joined. Also 2 su30mki which was on CAP on the southern sector was routed to intercept the hostile jets.

So the first 2 MiG-21s which had scrambled were just in time to engage the now retreating hostiles.

The rest of the responders when they arrived stayed behind in their own airspace.

Now video is available of the dog fight
Plus also the video of the 2 pilots of the F16 ejecting.

Google it

Also the entire thing happened in a matter of less than 10 minutes.

Also a point to note is that for the first time in aerial combat history a MiG-21 bison had shot down a F-16D block 52 aircraft in a dog fight that too with a close combat R73 WVR AAM.

An old aircraft designed in the late 50s got into a merge with a modern fly by wire fighter says a lot about the skill of the pilot. And the pilot is originally a SU30MKI pilot who was recently transferred to the MIG-21 squadron.

The Soviets would have loved to see this.....

The Americans r one part happy ( in context of afpak and Taliban ) and one part unhappy that a F16 block 52 got shot down and a block C amraam was dodged by a MiG-21.

However things r still tense , the government seems in no mood to forgive , they r waiting for the pilot to return.

Wallahi, that's the point I was trying to make earlier the guy is a badass. The Soviet surely will like to debrief the guy( he might just be an old Papa behind the sticks because it takes a whole lot of skills to do that unless the pilot in the F16 is a still a rookie).

For me the Paks are biting more than what they can chew... forget the press statement by the IAF it might just be part of the game to make their enemy loose guard. But I have no modicum of doubt in me that the IAF will respond with a resounding counterattack. Those guys no gree, but what was Pak trying to achieve because it seems that they're the aggressors here.

My thoughts though, no sane nation will but a rookie behind an F16. I will like to meet that pilot grin if I was in the IAFs top echelon this would be his last mission. Baba should be permanently made an instructor, you can't risk/ afford to loose such a talented guy because I believe it is no fluke to pull those stunts under high adrelanin.

Indian "Surgical" strikes into Pakistani territory which kicked off this current hostilities and led to the downing of an Indian MIG-21 achieved nothing.

India claims to have killed 300 militants, but that was a lie.

Satellite images proof the Indian Air Force only hit trees.
