I love his courage but i doubt if he'd get the justice he seeks under a biased justice Tanko who is loyal to Buhari. |

Most of you will desert him once the court case starts. He will be abandon like orpahn. If he likes himself, he should better accept defeat now. Whatever, evidence they think they have, APC also have some where PDP rigged, so evidences will nullify each other. Atiku should beter wise up, that the lawyers are only trying to 'chop' their own dollars. |

I agree Atiku should go to court, to address his grievances. I would however advice his supporters to contribute money for his legal fees. Don't let the man do it alone. Both his online supporters, and those he's working with- core party members. They shouldn't push the man with mouth only, support him with your money. Sowore was able to raise millions for his campaign from those that believed in his mandate. Atiku should be supported same way too. 1 Like |

OkaNaUbe: i like people like you , seems you wanna learn so i wonnt even qoute naija article/reports. lets go straight to keeping corruption out of US Abubakar Case History. From 2000 to 2008, Jennifer Douglas, a U.S. citizen and the fourth wife of Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President and former candidate for President of Nigeria, helped her husband bring over $40 million in suspect funds into the United States through wire transfers sent by offshore corporations to U.S. bank accounts. In a 2008 civil complaint, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission alleged that Ms. Douglas received over $2 million in bribe payments in 2001 and 2002, from Siemens AG, a major German corporation. While Ms. Douglas denies wrongdoing, Siemens has already pled guilty to U.S. criminal charges and settled civil charges related to bribery and told the Subcommittee that it sent the payments to one of her U.S. accounts. In 2007, Mr. Abubakar was the subject of corruption allegations in Nigeria related to the Petroleum Technology Development Fund. Of the $40 million in suspect funds, $25 million was wire transferred by offshore corporations into more than 30 U.S. bank accounts opened by Ms. Douglas, primarily by Guernsey Trust Company Nigeria Ltd., LetsGo Ltd. Inc., and Sima Holding Ltd. The U.S. banks maintaining those accounts were, at times, unaware of her PEP status, and they allowed multiple, large offshore wire transfers into her accounts. As each bank began to question the offshore wire transfers, Ms. Douglas indicated that all of the funds came from her husband and professed little familiarity with the offshore corporations actually sending her money. When one bank closed her account due to the offshore wire transfers, her lawyer helped convince other banks to provide a new account. In addition, two of the offshore corporations wire transferred about $14 million over five years to American University in Washington, D.C., to pay for consulting services related to the development of a Nigerian university founded by Mr. Abubakar. American University accepted the wire transfers without asking about the identity of the offshore corporations or the source of their funds, because under current law, the University had no legal obligation to inquire. Remember these is not written by apc or buhari, niether is it a case of witch hunt.

What is the absolute cost of going to court compared to the monies spent for campaign? It would be a mere fraction. To deepen our democracy, Atiku must go to court; why must we ask him to accept when PMB has a history of going to court for previous elections he undoubtedly lost? ATIKU PLS GO TO COURT; YOUR SUPPORTERS EXPECT NOTHING LESS FROM YOU; YOU MUST FIGHT TO THE BITTER END. Let the APC once again prove they can never improve anything they met on ground. Compared to 2015, this election is 100 steps backwards. TIGRITIS: |

OkaNaUbe: If I can you an idiot it will be an insult to idiots. Why not support him(Atiku)with your money or whatever instead of insulting others. It shows how primordial you guys are. I saw your reply to someone's quote and I must say you know nothing about politics. You think saying something based on your hunch means things will work? This was exactly the same garbage you guys sold to many Nigerians about Jonathan being cerebral with PhD and all the lies you propagated, and he ended up being the most clueless leader we ever had. And you guys are at it again. I(we) know Prof Moghalo is cerebral;I know Sowore has the mind of an aluta;I know Fela Durotoye is vocal and can bamboozle many of you with is motivational speech, but leadership is more than these. It does not only take these to be a leader in Nigeria, but the heart and might and the trust to do what is right. And as at now, I see no other candidate more willingly to go against the powers that be than President Buhari. Hate him all you want, he's got the effrontery to do that which he is convinced is right. We are not by any stretch saying he is the only person out there since sliced bread, but we are saying he has got the trust and the guts to do that which is right and true. Lastly, I am not expecting you to agree with me because I know many of you are too prejudice to see beyond those blinkers you are putting on. |
