Feeling your pains............My bid of 15% pa for 364 days failed for the PMA of 13th February 2019. The stop rate was 14.95% pa. I had to make do with 14,6% pa for 363 days at the secondary market with Fidelity bank Plc next day after the PMA disappointment.

I can imagine, waiting for primary market when the rates are unpredictable is not worth it, my losses is about N200k due to human error (very bad), you just watch your resources sink and nothing is done about it.

Oh oh, I just confuse......my biggest yearly TB investment failed and now stanbic is saying 12% for 358days. Maybe I should do 90days and see if the rates rebound, the fear is it may even be worst by that time.

Locking down now will mean me taking a loss of 600k. Why didn't stanbic just manage the 14.37 Like that eh...

I just confuse, and I have already budgeted and started borrowing to spend in anticipation of a sure deal. I say last last 14% go reach my hand. This life is just funny, anything can just happen anyhow.

Stock market is falling while the Money market is bullish.

when rates are dropping (Price rising if you deal on bonds) in the Money markets, it means the market is bullish. However its bearish when rates are rising.

however in stock market, when prices are falling, its bearish; i think that is the best time to even look for some good stocks to buy if you can take the risk.

Boss, you are correct but time hasn't come for me to diversify. My holdings is still infantry and trading Nigerian stocks requires a skill set that I don't have yet.

My frustration level is at fever pitch, I even had more faith on TB than my daily hussle , but both CBN and esp. Stanbic just fall my hand and leg.

It will only get worse in next few auctions. There is alot of money in circulation to mop up. Remember a day after the PMA, CBN OMO requested mop up 250B and about 1.2T naira demand was placed. guys have been keeping money for the kill but hands are being burnt right now.

Thanks bro, one just need to make hays while the sunshine, was waiting for presidential election to be over b4 i invest, hence i paid dearly for it. Anyways, Better than stacking up the cash in savings that will bring nothing, that i believe is my bank prayers for me but God pass them. We hope for better rates in future

No cause for alarm. Investment/Asset management institutions are independent from banking institutions. That has been in effect for sometime.

I applied for primary Tbill 364 days with stanbic ibtc which was not successful. Up until now my money has not been returned (hanging). . I called them yesterday (Thursday), they told me I will be credited early today (Friday) , now today is almost over still no show.
Two working days has passed .
I am worried cos I wanted to move the money to any other bank (Firstbank or GTB) with better rate for secondary market.
I have been doing TB for 3yrs., but this is the first time of been unsuccessful. �
Pls does anyone else have same issues with stanbic ?

Yes sir the best time to buy, the earning season is also around the corner. No matter how it falls I can't run away and in the next few weeks market would stabilize and more monies would be made. Just position in good Stocks.

I confirm from them, the I invest app parades the same rate with sterling bank all day since the tbill is made available by sterling and the parthian partners provides the technology.

Tb vs land ....i bought a land for 1.5 m put it for sale within 6 month to expirement which one was better (I have long suspected land bussiness was luck and speculative ) it now 2 years about to close deal for 1.8 m ....i have closed sale for .1.9m but buyer didn't pay ....but now 1.8 buyer yet to pay but 90 percent certain...profit is 300 k after 2 years...if I invested same in tb at 13 percent year 1 and 14.5 percent year 2 it will amount to...1.940 m .....profit is 440 k
.....but if I did more aggressive marketing I could have sold 2 m...and if I was smart I would have rent it out for 40 k per anum...
