Well I will first answer your question as ,Yes he did wear the yellow fugu/batakari(name of attire worn traditionally by the northern regions of Ghana)in order to commemorate a funeral of a late chief who was murdered and to also witness the enskinment(installment) of a new King.I don't know where the Nigerians got that particular image from cos it's very different from the original photos and the funny thing is that fake image has been circulating throughout Nigerian platforms.Those guys are crooks.Below is the original photo
