They are busy copy-pasting cooked labour figures from Yemi Kale yet they are now the poster child of poverty. Just imagine 100M plus extremely poor people. So poor they couldn't vote. Unless they got induced. tylann: |

rvp2018: Power Bridge power project is a 400MW liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fuelled combined-cycle power plant being developed in Tema, Ghana. The project is the first of its kind to be undertaken in Africa and the biggest of its kind in the world. The $953m power plant is being built in two phases with the first stage having a capacity of 194MW and the second having a capacity of 206MW. Endeavor is leading the development and owns 60% of Ghana 1000 – making Endeavor the largest shareholder. Endeavor will be responsible for the commercial management of Ghana 1000 as well as the construction management overseeing the EPC contractor. Ghana 1000 is a multi-phase greenfield gas-to-power project located near Takoradi in the Western Regions of Ghana that will consist of approximately 1,300 MW of combined cycle power generation technology once fully built out and will support Ghana’s burgeoning domestic natural gas industry by purchasing natural gas from the Sankofa gas field from Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC). The project will be built in multiple phases: Phase 1a: 375 MW power block with two gas turbines and one steam turbine Phase 1b: 375 MW power block with two gas turbines and one steam turbine Phase 2: 550 MW power block with three gas turbines and one steam turbine Phase 1a will be fueled by indigenous gas from the Sankofa field. Additional phases are expected to be fueled by domestic and liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplied by GNPC. The additional phases will utilize purpose-built LNG import infrastructure and a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU). The Amandi Project, is a 200 MW combined cycle, dual-fuel power project in Aboadze, Ghana. It’s the only large scale base-load independent power generation project in sub-Saharan Africa to achieve financial close in 2016. The Amandi Project will be fully constructed within 28 months and is scheduled to come online in April 2019. The plant’s construction will create 400 jobs, most of which will be filled by Ghanaians, and the plant’s operations will employ up to 40 people full time. |

forgiveness:You shouldn't talk about Ghana you know that boy.You 're now talking dumb.Where and when did you experience power and water issues in Ghana.Or you are referring to the 2014 when there was a power shedding plan of 6 hours off in every three days with regulated time timetable. That issue was long solved in 2015 and even after that the government who presided over the power shedding was massively voted out the next year although he had long solved the issue.Nigeria even wish they could get 12 hours on in three days power shedding agreement.Even with your current 6-8 hours a day light you recieve with 58%access rate, you massively voted for the lifeless soul.Majority of his voters are in the boko haram northern states who had never experienced electricity in their homes whilst the slums called cities seconded the endorsement.Poverty Headquarters for a reason. The level of poverty in Nigeria has never been experienced in Africa especially in that magnitude of 94 million extremely poor almajira, alhaji whose family has never smelled Mecca before,Aboki,Emeka,Chinedu,Nkozi,Fola,Toni,Egbele, all having massive share in the extreme poverty headquarters country.Curse you Lord Lugard. 1 Like

AskiaHarem: You're mad. Khoisan & Zulu people don't represent every tribe in South Africa. Why do earlier accounts refer to the Xhosa people as the "red blanket people" if we wore animal hide? I already told you before that we no longer have pure Khoisans in South Africa. The only trace of them in South Africa is found in the DNA of Xhosa, Tswana & some Coloured people.

1.My point was-Stability.Security is key.I don't know if Boko Haram can kick more ass than Al shabab. But Alshabab or any other group a threat to us shouldn't be given any chances. 2.Kenya identifies itself as a capitalistic state.Well,I guess there are levels of how capitalistic we are.But that's the point! 3.Countries should look forward to diversify a bit, look at Angola with a much lesser population than Kenya which has been 'found out' in the now global oil crisis. It's now that it wants to diversify.I guess, there are levels at how we should be diversified.I think we shouldn't have less than four key 'revenue pots'!
