Most parents didn't do a good job when dealing with the opposite sex in our lives during our teen days.
My pops was...in fact is still a soji man but my mom is the total opposite, coupled with the fact she's a "born-again evangelist".
Growing up, I was and still quite good looking with good height (not to blow my trumpet) so my neighbourhood girls were always kinda around me but I was a very shy lad. The day my mom saw me talking to my street girl who had a crush on me just outside my compound's gate, it wasn't funny at all:
