Are you following what is in the Nigerian newspapers? Is it not the same papers that said someone was burnt when it is was just a motorcycle?Same papers that said the OPC leader was killed?I was in Isolo area during the elections and nothing of such happened. By the way, I don't read Nigerian papers anymore because they don't know jack about journalism.
i have ppl on ground also. are u saying people were not threatened, chased around and killed in lagos?again judging from your reply, since you were in lagos at that time, how did u conclude ppl were forced to vote in ph?

Anyone who decides to physically attack Igbos should be ready for retaliation. Just as the Jews who were oppressed by Haman got up in arms, so will other tribes. Lagos is Edo land, not Yoruba, and the Edos are not fighting for it. After every other tribe has come here to develop the swamp land, you are all claiming it for yourselves. It is a pure joke. This was the national capital for over 30yrs and the blood and sweat of all tribes is here. We will NOT be intimidated by some local touts and criminals, most of whom are not even true indigenes of the land.
If e set shey you go come outside? All these talk talk online.

Are we really one in Nigeria
I don't we are one
What is your opinion on this

We're not and can never be. I've always said this and I always will. The fact that we don't speak the same language and have different cultures are enough evidence. The illusion of one Nigeria is just to keep us from reaching our full potential apart. We would make geometrical progress if we lived separately. Perhaps we would learn to better appreciate our differences and respect boundaries then.

The reason is happening was caused by igbos, the unitary system allows resources to be distributed by the number of states and local governments, quota system , nepotism, favoritism in getting jobs and lastly poverty is a weapon to fight a people

So are you telling me that their are no Poor people in the east willing to sell their Lands to you? Come on!

Just admit it Yoruba people are scared of Igbos.

I currently residing in Ogun where I'm the only Igbo tenant and I don't give a sh17 about any of them.

IPOB us a peaceful movement dedicated to self determination of the oppressed people of Biafra. God forbid that it attacks other people's territories talk less of Yorubas whom most Igbos see as brothers - despite all the yabis and distrust between us.
There is a continuing history of intermarriage between us. Skirmishes in parts of Lagos caused by politics should not be blown out of proportion.
Personally I will open my doors to a typical Yoruba man any day.

I will lubricate my pistol and keep it ready for OPC members. The pistol would like to taste coward's blood. If Yoruba people knows the might of an average Igbo man, they will fear and quake.

I love Yoruba people but only interested in showing their touts and agberos that they haven't tasted raw violence before.

So I have nothing against them.

Am disappointed in opc.. they should caution their members against attacking law abiding citizens residing peacefully in their own country and carrying out their civic responsibilities. Never in history of the world have i read or heard that individuals will be threatened at gunpoint to vote candidates that are not their choice in an election.even to the extent of actually killing them for voting their choice candidate, like the case of peter at okota. we are not savages. Nigeria is for Nigerians pls
.No Nigerian is a foreigner in Nigeria.. we can always split in peace if we are tired of the union!

just listen to yourself u fukkin tribalist. but Yorubas can vote anywhere in nigeria without molestation.a nigerian is not suppose to vote in nigeria, because he/she is not residing in his village of birth. so why the one nigeria mantra u love to profess? what is stopping u dominating by merit any place u find urself? or are u disabled in mind or body? go to nnewi or owerri with ur money, buy lands and properties. set up biz,pay tax,use hospitals,hotels,schools,churches/mosques,courts recreational places etc and contest elections there. nobody will be in your way. u dont tell a nigerian not to vote in nigeria because of primitive bigotry

You know igbos will not sell land to another tribe easily ,you know that's why you have not developed, access to land is a factor in production, nearness to raw materials, nearness to sea, access to land border, crime rate, purchasing power etc are all important factors

I live in Lagos, I work in ph. I know, first hand, of the kind of violence that happened in ph and what happened in Lagos is nothing compared to what happened there. I never heard of anybody that was killed due to partisanship in Lagos but in Ph , a few people died because of same thing. By the way, ph was even mild compared to what happened in some of the riverine and remote areas of Rivers state like Abonnema, Degema, Emuoha, Okrika and Andoni. Even Bonny that used to be relatively peaceful wasn't spared this time around.
