You can't really draw any meaningful lessons from Nigeria even from the oil and gas sector. When we still at the exploration stage, they lobbied our government seeking to help us build our capacity in the oil industry. The Kenyan government instead opted for Algeria. When it comes to mining, Algeria is one country we can learn much from.
