CRIPPLED LOVE

Trying to find sleep last night looked impossible... various thoughts began running through my mind like a slide show; the thought of demons and elementals, I had to take a pass so as not to fill my night with fear and mysteries; the thought of Nigeria, I knew I had better things to do than worry about a zoo nation; the thought of NEPA, I knew I had to pass so I don’t end up bombing one useless power company; the thought of love, I quickly waved it off without thinking twice but somehow I got pulled back to this thought.
What is Love? I know this is the most boring question on earth, so feel free to yawn aloud...
Love may appear sweet, it can be imagined as beautiful and pleasant but you probably didn’t know that love can be dangerous and wicked... once you pull the wrong strings, you’re done...




In as much as I laugh when guys get heart breaks, I sometimes take a while to think about it as well as make sure never to be a victim of love’s bitter venom.
Who can be more distracted than an emotionally broken man? Emotional damage is more than enough to fail a test... anyway, that’s one side of love; let’s look at love on the big side
In a country like Nigeria aka Z nation aka zombie nation aka Zootopia, where love is a scarce commodity; everybody is busy minding their business , tribalism is a motto; try attending certain parties or church and you will witness tribalism first hand; try working in some companies and you will see tribalism in full amour.



Even the church where love should be a foundation, the hatred and division is unbelievable
Diverse denominations with their own fashion of truth believed to be carved out from the same bible we all share, everybody confident in his own style of gibberish...

One Pentecostal tells you he was called by God to establish the ministry of faith, another tells you his ministry is love, another prosperity, another holiness and when you question why one is lacking the other abstract they tell you, that is not their ministry; who is deceiving who?


I thought the church fellowshipped together because of the love of God? Where is such love today? Churches own schools... were they ever part of the plans? School fees that members cannot afford... where is the love? Money and Greed is taking over...


If the world is not interested in love, the church should be our comfort zone but that is hardly happening... I begin to fear that if I go to church I’m going to go bankrupt because of levies, tithes and offerings...
Are we being Loved or Scammed?



Agape love (God’s Love) is the foundation of all love; if the foundation is in disarray what can we do? James 1 vs 27 tells us that pure religion in the sight of the father God is when you reach out to the poor, widows, helpless, needy, etc... these people are around us everyday and there are many who are capable of reaching out to them but many have chosen to turn blind eyes to the needs of their brothers and sisters... you should be ashamed of this



While you are busy paying your tithes and offering, do not forget the most important thing “PURE RELIGION”...
Until we put the foundational love in order, every other kind of love will continue to remain wicked and vain...
